** Minsc's epilogue has him finally returning home, happy he helped the Bhaalspawn but convinced he'll be seen as a failure due to the death of his witch, Dynaheir[[note]]Killed by Irenicus, the Elminster-level mage, at the beginning of ''[=BG2=]''[[/note]]...[[spoiler: only to find himself being hailed as a champion for all his heroic exploits, causing him to start up his own adventuring company and continue "buttkicking for goodness" well into old age]].

* And, to take the friendship thing even further, your whole team gets a moment at the Tree of Life, just before confronting Irenicus [[spoiler: the first time.]] Charname [[LineInTheSand gives them a chance to turn back from the battle]], reasoning that this is his/her fight and that the others shouldn't have to sacrifice. [[TrueCompanions All of them, especially your love interest, will refuse]].

** If he changed alignment in Throne of Bhaal, [[spoiler: Sarevok]] tells Nalia that she is repulsed by him because she sees many of his qualities in her: Power, leadership, and initiative. He tells her to be cautious, for there were many people who started out like her, and ended up like him.
** Likewise, in a conversation with Imoen if you chose to [[spoiler: have her give a piece of her soul to revive him,]] she starts to ask how it feels. After a bit of mocking and later scaring her recounting what she went through, if you did the alignment change he tells her he can feel many things and knows she is stronger than she thinks she is. Imoen is positively speechless and taken aback.

Upon investigation, you discover he was killed by Ankhegs and must report the sad news to the old man, who now cannot run the the farm alone... however, you can give him 100 gold to help, which has him tearfully thank you and states he'll not see their like again.
