Heartwarming / Scootertrix the Abridged

  • Despite how much Celestia likes to mess with Luna, as shown in subsequent episodes, she seemed sincerely happy to have her back at the end of episode two.
  • Spike telling Pinkie he has new found respect for her, after finding out she has an alligator as a pet.
  • After upsetting Apple Bloom with her insistence on attending school, Applejack tells her little sister that she only wants what is best for her and offers to buy her a treat, after they are done selling apples.
    • Apple Bloom happily accepting her offer. It is kind of cute to see her still getting to act like a child, despite being a high ranking Child Soldier, that is about to lead a war campaign.
  • Pinkie Pie trying to comfort Rarity, after her break down in episode 14. Made even more touching, as this is apparently the moment the idea of Pinkie being evil was officially scrapped.
    • Also, Twilight's earlier attempts at trying help Rarity and later, standing up to Applejack in her defense.
  • Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle's pep talk to bring Apple Bloom out of her panic attack after her military plans start to fail. What makes it especially heartwarming is that Scootaloo and Apple Bloom are known to have a rivalry; they were fighting only last episode, but Loo is willing to put her differences aside for the sake of her friend.
    Sweetie Belle: Visualize the apples.
  • Scootertrix Luna and Friendship Is for Adults Luna becoming pen pals, after the crossover.
  • In episode 9 of Royal Correspondence, Celestia decides to step up to the plate and help protect her ponies personally, after she realizes how badly the war is going.
  • From the same episode, instead of teasing her like she would normally due, Celestia bluntly tells Luna, if she wants the ponies to respect her, she has to step up and earn it by taking the throne and proving herself while Celestia is off fighting the war.
  • After saving Rarity from the Diamond Dogs in episode 19, the girls and Spike get back to the library, where Rarity thanks them for coming after her; Twilight, however, simply tells her to thank Spike, for coming to get them. At which point she does and Spike humbly tells her to Think Nothing of It, before offering to make the group nachos.
    • A more subtle moment is Applejack coming along to save her, despite certain revelations earlier in the show putting a strain on their relationship.
    • Earlier in the episode, Spike and Rarity bond over her discussing what life was like in the Badlands.
  • The epilogue:
    • Twilight asking Spike, who's clearly troubled from his trip back to the Badlands, to stay with her while he gets back on his feet. He's clearly touched by this and happily agrees.
    • Rarity reuniting and reconciling with her parents and sharing some baked spaghetti noodles with them.
