** Considering that it's possible to find Decapitated Bodies - these being of the kind where searching them can reveal an item drop, usually gold - even as deep as the 15th level of the labyrinth, not to mention how the 13th-15th levels typically have the remains of people who were clearly human being left on spikes, the possibility exists that whoever Griswold was referring to could have returned to town long enough to tell Griswold of the sighting of the Anvil of Fury. Of course, considering how deep underground the Anvil was - 10 levels below the ground on which Tristram was built, in case anyone needed a refresher - the person in question was probably a [[BadassBystander Badass Bystander]] who knew that as long as the demon threat persisted, Tristram would be endangered. Knowing this, that person likely returned to the depths, [[HeroicSacrifice fully knowing that while they will most likely die a horrible death, they will at least die fighting.]] Actually, now that some proper thought has been given to it... maybe the random Slain Hero found on the 9th level of the labyrinth could be that person? It ''is'' the only body given that specific name when highlighted, in contrast to all the others being simply "Decapitated Body."

And to give that specific body another layer of meaning, what is the PC's reaction when interacting with that specific body? [[DueToTheDead "Rest in peace, my friend."]]

* Griswold mentions that one of the men who returned from the Labyrinth saw the Anvil of Fury. I was always under the impression that nobody got past the catacombs, yet somebody managed to fight all the way to the Caves and back? And if so, why was anything left in the Cathedral and Catacombs, including the Butcher?

** Fleshy traits come from demons. Alone, angels spawn from the Arch. Alone, demons spawn any way that they can. Together, they figured out something like "normal" reproduction.

* So angels are technically made of sound and light, yes? Then... how in the world did they manage to reproduce with demons? And if they ''could'' reproduce, why do they rely on the Crystal Arch for newer angels?
