* Also from Alpha Gaiden, when [[Anime/CombattlerV Kosuke]] and [[Anime/MobileSuitVictoryGundam Usso]] ask [[Anime/{{Braiger}} Kid and Bowie]] how the Braiger is able to change size, they have no idea. But then their child assistants, Shin and Mei, show up and are able to explain it, though their elders still don't understand. But Kosuke and Usso do, and are even able to discuss it on a theoretical level. Cue a slight JawDrop from Kid and...

* The lovable, HotBlooded, and sometimes goofy Sergeant Hatter and his Apharmd the Hatter will occasionally sing the ''VideoGame/DaytonaUSA'' "Rolling Start" song while charging into melee range.

* A comic for Alpha 2 has [[Anime/GaoGaiGar Primvada]] making a Zonder Robo that appears to be made of the parts of several of the mechs who's series' debuted in that game(Gao Gai Gar, Kotetsu Jeeg, Dygenguard, etc...), and even knows all their attacks. The Alpha Numbers are in the fight of their lives when suddenly the Zonder... just stops, satisfied with the battle, and allows Mamoru to purify it. The comic tries very hard not to admit that the Zonder's core was actually ''Ryusei Date'', AscendedFanboy extraordinaire from Alpha 1(and Gaiden), who was upset about not being in the game.

* The [[CombatMechaXabungle Xabungle]] characters, of course. The picture of a melon replaceing Jiron's head like in the show in Alpha Gaiden, is one of the funniest thing in the series.

* On one stage of Alpha Gaiden, [[Anime/TurnAGundam Loran]] and [[SuperDimensionFortressMacross Milia]] bring out their mechs to do laundry since the Argamma's washing machines are broken. And then Kouji brings out the ''Anime/MazingerZ'' to dry it with Breast Fire. One of the girls comments that he "would make a good bride," but he manages to scorch some of the laundry. Perhaps it's just as well that no one ever tries to make clothes for the Valsione or Angelg.
