** What makes this scene better is the horrible audio balance that makes the music overpower their voices, making it hard not just for Polly, but the player to hear York.
** Later on, if you decide to start her sidequest, her [[ICantHearYou hearing]] acts up again:

* If you peep on Thomas in his room at night you can catch him [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksixRLhC3V8 dancing]].
** Even better, if you talk to Thomas at night while it's raining he'll [[http://youtu.be/fPfON0kufe4?t=8m30s do the same dance]] in front of you as he talks.
* Thomas [[spoiler: in the Clock Tower after he's completely lost his mind. He swings across the clock tower in his sister's dress and make-up shouting about how Emily stole George from him.]] The whole thing is just so ridiculous and bizarre that it becomes hilarious, but at the same time you can't help but [[TheWoobie feel sorry for the poor guy.]]
** His dialogue makes it unintentionally hilarious:

* Keith is a jovial rock 'n' roll fan who likes to tell ghost stories and play air guitar. [[spoiler: He falls victim to the [[{{AxCrazy}} effects of the purple fog]] with the rest of the townsfolk near the end of the game-- and [[{{ChainsawGood}} he has a chainsaw at the ready.]] Having such a [[{{BewareTheNiceOnes}} happy character]] wield such a psycho weapon out of nowhere]] is jarring-- and really funny. Where did you get that, Keith?
** It's even funnier if [[spoiler: you stole his Grecotch guitar]], because it seems like [[spoiler: he's figured out you stole it]].
* [[spoiler: Zach stepping on Kaysen's doll as he leaves the final fight area [[MoodWhiplash with Emily's dead body]].]]
* George ''[[OutOfCharacterMoment agreeing]]'' to go with York's hunch about going to Velvet Falls to [[spoiler: find lost files]], under the logic that waterfalls give power, so even if they don't get anything there, they'll be stronger. [[OnlySaneMan Emily's]] reactions sell the scene as well.
** [[spoiler:In hindsight, a nice bit of foreshadowing, given George's obsession with power.]]
** [[spoiler:York retrieving the aforementioned files from the river by ''literally fishing them out with a pole'' is one of the most monumentally surreal things in the game.]]

* At one point after helping Emily with a recipe in her sidequest chain, she happily states that her cooking is getting as good as Thomas's. York politely disagrees by saying you can't compare the two, likening [[YamatoNadeshiko Thomas]]'s cooking to having tea while listening to classical music, taking a very long pause trying to come up with an equivalent simile for [[LethalChef Emily]]'s cooking... and then bluntly changing the subject.
* When we first meet York, he is driving along the road in the rain, talking on his cell phone and smoking a cigarette while typing on his laptop with one hand. All this while holding a deep conversation about his theory of WesternAnimation/TomAndJerry living in a co-depended, sadomasochistic relationship, and somehow this does not affect his ability to drive. What finally causes him to crash? A malfunctioning lighter.
* In the Director's Cut [[spoiler: at the very end, when Old Grandpa Zach sneaks out of his out and runs off to New Orleans with the voice in his head to investigate people who can only walk backwards]].

* The beginning cutscene of the game is a great EstablishingCharacterMoment for York, with him fiddling around around on his laptop, while talking on the phone about his theory of WesternAnimation/TomAndJerry having a codependent sadomasochistic relationship, and smoking a cigarette, while ''still driving''... during heavy rainfall, no less. Even better is that only after he puts this stuff away and sees the Raincoat Killer does he veer off the road. Also, while he is veering off the road, a couple of squirrels get startled and make chimp cries.
