* Kala and Wolfgang often find themselves instinctively visiting each other whenever they simultaneously visit a bathroom. Kala lampshades this fact early in season two. It may have something to do with Lito being a part of both their subconscious minds, and since bathrooms are are especially significant for Lito as per his encounter in the Diego Rivera Museum, both Kala and Wolfgang subconsciously imbue the same emotion into bathrooms.

* When considering how the creators generally tend to view their work, and with the theme of connectedness, it's not much of a surprise that each of the protagonists' individual arcs also represent a different brand of cinema and film style. For example, Wolfgang's plot being a hard-nosed, In Bruges, euro-crime style piece, while Kala's plot is straight-up Bollywood. Not to mention Will (police procedural), Lito (Mexican melodrama), Nomi (LGBT romance), Sun (South Korean action), Capheus (African gangster films) and Riley (her intro is very reminiscent of a Channel 4 TV series like ''Series/{{Skins}}'')

* Nomi says she still has the scars on her back from the burns which resulted in her stopping to try and fit into the role expected of her and embrace her gender. Given that she has had top and bottom surgery, she most probably had a chance to remove or cover up the scars surgically at the same time, but she didn't, because as she said, what happened in that locker room made her into the woman she is today, so she kept them as a memento.

* Sun does most of the fighting but whenever disarming somebody with a gun it's Will who handles it. Which makes sense: gun disarming techniques wouldn't be common in Sun's discipline but are standard training for a cop. Additionally: Sun, Will, and Wolfgang all have different fighting styles. Sun's martial arts are the strongest, Will uses police takedowns, gun control and basic judo, while Wolfgang streetfights like a rough and tumble thug. This is further highlighted when Sun is nearly killed by assassins hired by her brother, Wolfgang steps in to help her.

* From the Christmas episode, Sun defiantly continues to kick the wall, despite the guard threatening more time in solitary confinement for doing so. Under normal circumstances, spending more time isolated would have an adverse effect on a person. But by her very nature as a sensate, Sun can never truly ''be'' isolated. So the threat of spending more time confined holds no power over her; if she gets lonely, any one of her seven clustermates can pop in to keep her company at a moment's notice.

* In the second episode, Nomi posts in her blog about the Pride Parade. The TitleDrop "I am also a we" is used in conjunction with the sense of belonging of the Pride. Now all the sensates in her cluster were born in August 8th, wich means their zodiacal sign is Leo. And a pack of lions is also called "pride."
* Furthermore, Capheus tells Kala that he first fell in love with [[Creator/JeanClaudeVanDamme Jean-Claude]] when watching the film '''''[[Film/{{Lionheart}} Lion]]'''''''[[Film/{{Lionheart}} heart]]''.

* Given that Lito's entire family was too engrossed with the television to pay attention to his birth, especially ''his mother'', it makes perfect sense that he would grow up to become a telenovela actor. It was his way of gaining his family's attention. He's smiling when he recall his birth, so he's apparently not mad about it.

* For Sara Patrell to Visit Will, she must have been a fully awoken sensate with a cluster all exactly the same age as her. So the options are that, after cutting her skull open, Whispers then did the same to seven other children across the world (or may have killed some of them already before finding Sara) or that seven other children across the world all had to experience one of their cluster dying (an experience grown sensate Yrsa describes as a pain she thought would kill her and which no child would be equipped to deal with even if it wasn't the result of NightmareFuel brain surgery murder).
** Or... It's never explicitly stated that all sensate clusters come in 8. The only confirmed "rule" of being a sensate cluster is sharing a birthday. At the time she was killed, Will and Sara could very well be the same age. It's also never fully explained how a sensate gets activated, but it is explained that Whispers and Jonas can visit sensates outside their cluster after making eye contact with them. Perhaps eye contact with active sensates is exactly how new sensates are activated; Angel makes eye contact with each of them in the pilot. This would also mean that Riley has been an active sensate for most of her life, having met Yrsa as a child. After having been activated by Whispers, Sara would be able to visit Will, assuming she had met him... Except, we are never given any indication that they've ever physically met, so the only way she could visit him is if they were clustermates... My God, what if one of their own was murdered as a child?
*** The very fact the Sensates share the same birthdate and hence age means that the other child members of Sara's cluster have to cope with a gargantuan trauma their minds are not well-developed for.

* Riley appears to have no special "real life" skills of her own, yet she's the one capable of linking all the different members of her cluster and making them work together as a unit. What does a DJ do, again?
