* If you decide to restore your health by using the hotel's services, you'll note that the bros go into the room next to the desk since it's the only free one available. It has a double bed. Not twins; double. Make of that what you will.
** It's not unheard of for siblings to share a bed together, especially when it's their only option. Both brothers are also known to conk out and rest in even the most bizarre and dangerous locations, so it's possible one of them just slept on the floor.
* Somnom Woods is said by much of the staff to be entirely unexplored virgin forest that hasn't had a lick of human contact in thousands of years, yet not long after going into the forest you meet the Nomnoms. And there's also a lot of boomerang bros, but those Koopa troop members could have been some of the first non-native visitors to the woods since antiquity.
* Why do the Pi'illos know so much about modern slang and technology? Look at some of the devices they built, many of which would be extremely high-tech even for this day and age (such as Pi'illodium for example).
* Gold Beanies are susceptible to any Luiginary attack except Luiginary Flame because the melting point of gold is almost 2000 degrees.

No disputing the validity of this entry, but I feel it's so obvious that it doesn't really qualify as Fridge Brilliance. There's plenty of evidence throughout the game that Dreambert is skilled in combat. He even boasted that Antasma would pose no challenge to him on Mt. Pajamaja; he just wasn't able to handle Bowser if Mario and Luigi were put to sleep.

* Dreambert, who mostly serves as an ExpositionFairy, fights Antasma to a draw. It might seem like an incredibly convenient plot device that came out of nowhere, but remember that Dreambert created the battle ring and was the one who trained the Pi'illos to fight, anticipating impending doom. Also, remember his comments when teaching giant Luigi battle techniques such as that he is "well trained in the art of hammer uppercuts". So it should come as no surprise that he can handle himself in battle.

*** Going along with the above, the island's proprietor, Dr. Snoozemore, seems like the kind of guy who would take the Pi'illos' considerations into account concerning how the island is run in the future. It's not likely that they'll just be booted out of their ancestral home, especially since they'll presumably have the aid of the Mario Bros. and the Mushroom Kingdom, as well.

The game even ends with Peach announcing in front of everyone that the Pi'illo Kingdom can now be brought back, and no one questions or objects to it.
*** To add to the pile, a plaque in the Pi'illo Castle treasure room reads that the island's renovations are consistently put on hold each time an artifact of the lost kingdom is uncovered, so that it can be properly documented and preserved. So, you can imagine how the reemergence of the entire population of said lost kingdom is going to affect things, according to that policy.

** Building on this, just before Mario and Luigi set out to find Peach at Driftwood Shores, the game fades out on Antasma telling Bowser to make his wish on the Dream Stone after Antasma used his own wish to create their new castle; Bowser says he knows ''exactly'' what he's going to wish for, making it pretty obvious that he pulled the switch off right then and there.

** Fortunately, the horror of this entry is mitigated somewhat, thanks to a few factors:
*** Most of the Pi'illos just seem happy to be alive again once they're freed, rather than concerned with the state of the island. There are even a few of them who show interest in partaking in nearby tourist attractions or are glad to see so many people visit Pi'illo Island.
*** Most of the island's tourist amenities either improve upon what they started out from or accommodate the original Pi'illo ruins and relicts into their design. Mushrise Park was said to have just been a muddy field before Brickle got it into shape, whatever they're doing with Dozing Sands is still under construction, and both Wakeport and Pi'illo Castle still feature all the original architecture of the Pi'illo, with some modern structures or conveniences installed to compliment it rather than overtaking it.

* While some have complained that [[spoiler: Bowser is the main antagonist of the game, it makes sense in the context of the series. Every previous game had Bowser as a pawn to the new villain- here, he's sick of it and proving his status by ousting the new bad guy who's supposed to be the main antagonist.
