* Sato's EyesAlwaysShut may seem like a character tic. Then again, Tanaka is able to see through his IBM by covering his eyes with his hands. Given that Sato is clearly more experienced with his IBM than every other Ajin introduced so far, chances are that he's doing the same thing most, if not all, of the time.

* Sato's EyesAlwaysShut may seem like a character tic. Then again, Tanaka is able to see through his IBM by covering his eyes with his hands. Given that Sato is clearly more experienced with his IBM than every other Ajin introduced so far, chances are that he figured out how to do it by just keeping his eyes closed and that he's doing the same thing most, if not all, of the time.

* There are hints that there are degrees of Ajin. Different Ajin have different degrees of control over their [=IBMs=] due to how long they've had them, how often they've died, how much they've practiced using them and so on. However, there are hints that some people can see [=IBMs=] without actually being Ajin. What happens to people who almost, but not quite, die -- but, might have the potential to become Ajin? Or those close to death, potential or not? After all, Kei's sister is not surprised in the least to find out that he's an Ajin. And, when Kai gets himself strangled, he gets to see one. And, then there's a certain researcher who can see the things, even if he can't produce one and doesn't seem to be an Ajin.

* There OK, so there are hints that there are degrees of Ajin. Different Ajin -- take Kei and Kou, for example. Kei is way more proficient than he should be with his IBM (to the point that he has a very independent one), considering... and Kou has all the control over his of a nearby rock. And, others are in places in-between. In short, different Ajin have different degrees of control over their [=IBMs=] due to how long they've had them, how often they've died, how much they've practiced using them them, and so on. However, there are hints that some people can see [=IBMs=] without actually being Ajin. Ajin at points. After all, Kei's sister is not surprised in the least to find out that he's an Ajin. Ajin, and she's been sick for ages with signs he's actually been an Ajin for longer than even he's aware of -- how and why? And, when Kai gets himself strangled, he gets to see one. his savoir IBM while he's blacking out, but not actually dying. And, then there's a certain researcher who certainly can see the things, even if he can't produce one and doesn't seem to be an Ajin.

Ajin himself (unless he's hiding something really huge). So, where's the divide, again?
