Shocker has ascended in the Pantheon, ready to unleash its evil throughout the innocent gods who have no idea (or way) to defend themselves from the terror to come. The only ones who can stop them are the Kamen Riders who have ascended, but it seems like there's more to this than meets the eye, especially when various gods and goddesses begin to take up the mantles of various Kamen Riders.
In a war between good and evil, who shall emerge victorious?
Rider Taisen provides examples of:
- Big Bad: The Great Leader of Shocker has once again becoming the biggest threat the heroes must face.
- Legacy Character: In a technical sense, deities who are taking the mantle of various Kamen Riders are this since the original users of these power sets aren't ascended in the pantheon yet.
- Legion of Doom: Many villains who were not related to Toku joined Shocker as their employed members due to their desire on getting their revenge against their respective adversaries.
- Story Arc: There will be eight arcs in total, the first seven based on various Kamen Rider series, the last one being the War Arc against Shocker.
