The Troll Queen incident in which she was involved in was mentioned way back early in the series. It's covered more in detail in an ongoing multi-part sidestory found in Volumes 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, and 35 of the manga.

* EvilFormerFriend: Jelamet claims to supposedly have been Elizabeth's BestFriend in the distant past. She however disapproved of Elizabeth's relationship with Meliodas, having warned her to stay away from him. As such, Jelamet considered that Elizabeth deserved to be cursed for breaking their clan's laws. Jelamet also considered the loss of her original body and her having to possess the disgusting looking Troll Queen as all being Elizabeth's fault. For this, Jelamet had planned to find and punish Elizabeth as she saw Elizabeth's curse as not enough to satisfy her anger.

* FatBitch: Although Jelamet's actual appearance is attractive, she has a very horrible personality. As such, when she possessed the fat ugly Troll Queen, she gained an outer appearance that matched her horrid personality.

* "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Elizabeth gives her this during the final showdown with the Sins when she tells her to leave and never return, noting that the Supreme Deity was never a good mother to Elizabeth as she showed no love and compassion for her and her siblings and condemning Elizabeth to death and endless suffering for loving Meliodas for the sake of furthering the Holy War definitely severed that motherly bond. Elizabeth effectively disowns her as her mother.

* OneGenderRace: Subverted. While the Japanese name for their race is translated in English as goddess, there are apparently males among them. This is actually evident in some dialogue prior to the reveal that there are males wherein King used the Japanese word 彼ら (they, male form) when he talked about the Goddess Clan losing their physical bodies.

** First seen being used by Nerobasta to obliterate a Red and Gray Demon, one of the techniques used by members of the Goddess Clan is called Ark. The kanji used for Ark (アーク) which is 聖櫃 refers to the Ark of the Covenant in Judaism or the tabernacle in Catholicism.

* ClippedWingAngel: After losing his Grace, Mael had to make up for his lost power by absorbing three Commandments, which granted him the ability to wield demonic and angelic powers simultaneously and even learn how to merge them. However, the Commandments make him mentally unstable and vengeful towards Gowther, even being willing to attack Sariel and Tarmiel. After absorbing Derrière’s commandment, he becomes even more powerful, but his mental health deteriorates even further until Gowther helps him get rid of the Commandments.
