* OlderThanTheyLook: Frank can often be easily mistaken to still be in his 40's instead of in his 60's with his hair full and pure black. One of Frank's old Vietnam buddies even mentions how weird that is compaired to himself having gone grey-haired and bald.

This is what saves his life in ''Punisher MAX'' when he's bedridden and helpless in the prison hospital, recovering from the injuries he sustained during his fight with Bullseye. Corrupt guards allow two rival prison gangs to enter the prison hospital at night, with the door to Castle's room unlocked. Yet, despite Castle's seeming helplessness, the inmates still fear him too much to actually dare enter his room and walk away instead.
