Add to that her nature as a SocialClimber, her idiocy in stealing the wine of Cersei Lannister for a pick-me-up, her requesting you to use Margarey to help her instead of yourself at least once if not twice, and her outright abandoning you in Episode 5 simply because you're too inconvenient to remain friends with, all paint her in a light where she tries her best to be a decent person, but ultimately is looking out solely for herself. A morally grey individual who fits right in at King's Landing, whatever your feelings on her.
