* BerserkButton: The ''only'' time in the entire game where she raises her voice is in a very easily missed optional scene where she'll prevent Jennifer from opening a medicine cabinet. The implication is that there's [[spoiler: some form of birth control, such as condoms or pills, or even an aborted fetus within.]]

* TwentiesBobHaircut: Justified, given the time period in which the game is set, she dons this sort of haircut.

* CopeByPretending: What is notable about how she reacts to [[spoiler:Diana and Meg killing her priced pet bird]] is actually her utter ''lack'' of an overt reaction. [[spoiler:She just continues to carry the empty cage around with her, as if the bird was still alive.]]

* TwentiesBobHaircut: Justified, given the time period in which the game is set, she dons this sort of haircut.
* BlueBlood: Invoked -- she uses the title "Countess."

* AmbiguousDisorder: Reading between the lines, Diana shows a lot of symptoms of what a modern psychologist may recognize as a Borderline Personality Disorder.

* AmbiguousDisorder: Eleanor doesn't make eye contact, even while bowing (she makes a point of looking to the side), does not show emotion like other people, speaks in monotone, prefers to be by herself, develops a far deeper emotional connection with an animal than she ever has with a human, and when it dies, responds in a way that seems bizarre to others (rather than crying or becoming angry, she simply substitutes her connection to the animal with a connection to the cage, which she keeps carrying around for comfort). All of these appear to be symptoms of autism (or, given how she's implied to be abandoned, Reactive Attachment Disorder).
