* NGOSuperpower: They have the resources and manpower to completely conquer and subjugate Mizore's homeland by themselves, have an entire "diplomatic branch" dedicated to infiltrating the human worlds financial and political aspects, and their primary base of operations is a ''massive'' flying fortress.
* NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist: Despite their claims that they want monster equality and supremacy over humans, it's clear by their willingness to oppress and kill their fellow monsters that they just want equality and power for themselves.

Kahlua is the second oldest daughter in the Shuzen family, the daughter of Gyokuro Shuzen and the biological sister of Kokoa. Kokoa describes her as the best assassin in the family because of her berserker personality whenever she has to kill someone. Additional to her vampire SuperStrength, she's unable to feel pain what makes her even more dangerous. Despite actually having the personality of a pacifist, she would kill anyone when she sheds her BerserkerTears.

Kokoa was not frightened for nothing, though; Kahlua may be naïve and childlike, but she is a top assassin who does anything for her employer, as it soon becomes obvious when she innocently reveals her blindfolded and straitjacketed hostage in a wheelchair.
* BerserkerTears: Because she does not ''enjoy'' killing, even though it is what she does best, Kahlua bursts into tears whenever she enters battle.
* BodyHorror: [[spoiler:After removing her second limiter, to show off how indestructible her liquid form is she cuts off her own head and the wound has ''teeth''.]]

Kahlua loves her little sister Kokoa, but Gyokuro's upbringing has made Kahlua into a killing machine who won't stop until she kills anyone her mother orders her to and that includes Kokoa. * CoolCrown: She wears a tiara over her forehead.
* CuteClumsyGirl: Her first in person appearance is her falling on her face after tripping on her own dress while greeting our heroes before she fights them.
* DarkActionGirl: She's the Shuzen family's master assassin and is absurdly powerful, even by vampire standards.
* DarkSkinnedBlonde: Kahlua is the tannest of the Vampire Sisters and has hair whose color appears to be a cross between light blond and ''very'' pale green, so it fits. [[spoiler:She gets it from her mother]].
* DeathSeeker: Kahlua wants to be killed by one of her sisters so she doesn't have to kill at her evil mother's orders anymore. And she [[spoiler: nearly finds it from Kokoa impaling her, but the epilogue reveals Miyabi/Alucard saved her life by giving her his blood.]]
* TheDitz: When she is not in her "Killer" mode, she can be somewhat of a clueless airhead.
* TheDreaded: She absolutely terrifies Kokoa, and after they see what she's capable of, none of the other main characters are all that thrilled to have to fight her either. Inner Moka, a badass in her own right, came right out and admitted that she didn't stand a chance against Kahlua.
* EdibleThemeNaming: Like her sisters, she's named after a drink. Kahlua is a coffee flavored liqueur from Mexico.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Like Aqua, she truly loves her sisters. Also like Aqua, this won't necessarily save them from her.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: However, it's shown that she does ''not'' appreciate being directly ordered to kill her own sisters, particularly if the contract was put out on [[spoiler:Kokoa]]. In fact, [[spoiler:when TheDogBitesBack, she actually tells Kokoa that she's [[SoProudOfYou so proud of her]]]].
* FairytaleWeddingDress: However you look at it, Kahlua's dress looks like something a bride would wear to her wedding (except maybe the boots and the slit).
* FeelNoPain: If she takes ''too much'' damage, her body will fail itself. But she's charmed to feel no pain, so she doesn't know when she's approaching that point.
* ForcedIntoEvil: She's a very kind person that is sadly stuck with a very lousy parent. She's only a villain because she can't bring herself to disobey the orders of her evil mother, even if that forces her to try and kill her beloved sisters.
* FriendlyEnemy: As she's only a PunchClockVillain, she holds no ill will towards her opposition.
* GirlyBruiser: She dresses like a princess, has a gentle and innocent personality, and is one of the most powerful fighters in Fairy Tale.
* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler:In the expanded epilogue, she apparently leaves Fairy Tale to rejoin her sisters, as she's shown playing chess and beating up thugs with Aqua who had already made her turn during the final battle with Alucard.]]
* IAmNotLeftHanded: After removing one of her {{Power Limiter}}s, Kokoa still manages to defeat her. And then Kahlua removes her second one and goes all out, declaring that Kokoa is [[YearsTooEarly ten years too young]] to defeat her now. [[spoiler:Surprisingly enough, Kokoa ''does'' manage to defeat her.]]
* ImmunityDisability: Because she's been charmed to be unable to feel pain, she has no way of knowing how much damage her body's taking until it simply quits on her. In fact, [[SpannerInTheWorks this]] was what forced Fairy Tale to retreat from Mizore's homeland, as Miyabi realized that she was approaching that limit.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Killed by [[spoiler: Kokoa stabbing her in the heart while she's solid. Kahlua recovers thanks to Miyabi/Alucard giving her his blood.]]
* TheIngenue: PlayedForLaughs. In an Omake, Gyokuro (who, remember, is ''[[AbusiveParents her mother]]'') intends to send her on a HoneyTrap mission... only to discover that Kahlua ''doesn't know the first thing about sex''. Gyokuro's response? [[ManChild "How old ARE you?!"]] It doesn't help that only [[CombatSadomasochist one]] general of Fairy Tale has an active sex life and ''none'' of them can so much as give her TheTalk.
* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: She seems to have no inconvenience fighting in a long dress. Outside of battle, however, she is prone to tripping over it while walking.
* KnightOfCerebus: Despite not being especially malicious, her appearance marks a more serious turn for the enemies in the series, and is also the first enemy the main characters are incapable of defeating when she debuts.
* LaserGuidedTykebomb: Her programming led to her trying to kill Moka and Kokoa, her own sisters.
* LikeParentUnlikeChild: You'd wonder why such a crazy woman like Gyokuro have a really sweet daughter like Kahlua.
* LovecraftianSuperpower: By removing one of her earrings, her right arm can turn into several bat RazorWings.
* MadeOfIron: Partially due to her [[FeelNoPain inability to feel pain]], Kahlua doesn't stop fighting even after Inner Moka kicks her with all pf her strength. She also shrugs off her older sister Aqua's OneHitKill.
* MadeOfPlasticine: With her limiters removed, [[spoiler: her body is more like a liquid than a solid unless she makes part of it solid, shown when she pulls on a shard of ice stuck in her, it nearly tears off her upper torso before she heals from it. Int this state she's nearly impossible to kill she can [[HealingFactor regenerate from nearly anything]] and her body isn't solid enough to deal any real damage to.]]
* MarkedChange: When she takes off both of her earring seals, tattoos appear on her arms.
* NighInvulnerability: Thanks to her [[FeelNoPain inability to feel pain]], Kahlua won't go down even if her enemies fatally injure her. [[spoiler: Taken even further when her limiters are removed and her body is liquid so it's nearly impossible to do any real harm to her. She's only killed when covered in water enough to force her to stay solid.]]
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: She shows all the vampire strengths as her sisters, including SuperStrength and SuperToughness, and also has a weakness to water. Most notably, she's the only vampire in the series who uses her shapeshifting powers as other vampires are too vain to use them.
* PowerLimiter: Her earrings. She has ''two'' and she only needed to remove ''one'' to effortlessly slaughter the heroes.
* ProfessionalKiller: According to Kokoa, Kahlua is considered one of the greatest assassins in the Shuzen family.
* PromotionToParent: Since Gyokuro wanted nothing to do with Kokoa, Kahlua took up a motherly role to her little sister while growing up.
* PunchClockVillain: Possibly the most horrific deconstruction ever. She will take any job, regardless of who she has to kill or the toll it takes on her body, and will not stop unless ordered to do so. Despite this, she hates killing, and she will cry the whole time as she does so.
* PyrrhicVictory: Without a doubt, she was powerful and dangerous enough to kill Inner Moka. However, it was stated by Miyabi that even if she did kill Inner Moka, Moka would have still inflicted enough heavy wounds on her that she would have eventually died from those wounds in spite of defeating Moka.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: She has dark red eyes and is one of the most feared assassins of the Shuzen family.
* ReluctantWarrior: She makes clear she ''hates'' fighting and killing people, but her upbringing as a killing machine makes her unable to resist any orders to kill her targets and those who get in her way, even if they're her family.
* ShapeshifterWeapon: Without her limiters, she can turn her arms into deadly weapons.
* ShowgirlSkirt: Her dress has a slit up on the left side at the front.
* SoProudOfYou: To [[WorthyOpponent Kokoa,]] [[spoiler:when she runs Kahlua through with Ko-chan.]]
* SpannerInTheWorks: Her inability to feel pain actually forced Fairy Tale to retreat from Mizore's homeland. According to Miyabi, if she pressed on she would've gotten herself killed without knowing it.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: She looks very similar to her mother Gyokuro, just having longer hair and a not-evil looking face.
* SympathyForTheDevil: The only reason she was so loyal to a massive bitch like Gyokuro was [[spoiler: because she felt sorry for her mother, knowing that if it weren't for her, Gyokuro would have truly been alone in the world without the love and attention of her husband or children]].
* {{Tykebomb}}: She was raised by Gyokuro to be a deadly and indestructible assassin.

The oldest sister of the Shuzen family, but unlike the others she's adopted and from China. She mastered the Jigen-Tou in young age. Aqua really loves her younger sister Moka and she would kill anyone who would take her away from her. She's even more powerful than Kahlua.

* AbsurdCuttingPower: She's a master of the Jigen-Tou or Dimensional Sword, a technique that gives Aqua the ability to cut through ''anything'' with her bare hands due to her body phasing in and out of our dimension.
* TheAce: Despite her young age, she is incredibly powerful, being a master of both hand-to-hand combat and Yojutsu. She mastered the Jigen-Tou on her own, being able to use it both offensively and defensively, and created the barrier to destroy Moka's seal. [[spoiler:Alucard]] says that in terms of strength, she is above even the Three Demon Lords.
* AmbitionIsEvil: She tried to murder Akasha to obtain the latter's True Ancestor Vampire blood that would give Aqua the power to kill all humans.
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: While fighting her sister Kahlua, she was able to figure out the reason behind her BerserkerTears despite seeing them for the first time.
* AxCrazy: She has a very dark and violent side, and will annihilate anyone who gets in her way or pisses her off.
* BecomingTheMask: Aqua originally joined the Shuzen family to [[spoiler:kill Akasha and steal her Shinso powers]] so she could take her revenge on humanity. * CuteAndPsycho: At one moment, she's a cute young girl who gushes over how adorable Moka is. At other moments, she's a terrifying assassin who will instantly cut down anyone in her path.
* CuteBruiser: She's stronger than Kahlua.
* CuteIsEvil: Despite her villainy, she has some undeniably cute moments, especially around Moka.
* DarkActionGirl: She's a ruthless, vicious assassin with the ability to cut objects and people in half with her bare hands.

After Aqua attacked a human boy Jasmine liked, Jasmine was brutally murdered by humans while she attempted to reason with them. * EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: She really does love her little sister Moka and the rest of her family. She even put her plot to gain ultimate power by [[spoiler:killing Moka's mother on hold in a (failed) attempt to avoid hurting Moka's feelings. In fact, when Moka is threatened by Alucard, Aqua's ''grandfather'' and the most powerful being in existence, Aqua is the last one standing and more than ready to take him on to save her beloved sister.]]

* NeverMyFault: She's convinced that HumansAreBastards because [[spoiler: her best friend/surrogate sister Jasmine was killed by an angry mob after they discovered they were vampires]]. Of course, said motive falls a tad flat considering the fact that [[spoiler: the entire reason said angry mob was formed to begin with was because Aqua, out of paranoia, exposed herself and Jasmine as vampires by injuring a human boy who tried to befriend them]].
* NotSoStoic: Throughout her time at the Huangs, she rarely breaks composure and shows an ice cold front for her men...the second she's behind closed doors, she begins squeeing over how beautiful Moka is, rolling on the bed and then begins happily playing with her pet dog, confessing how utterly ''terrified'' she was at the prospect of fighting Touhou Fuhai.
* OhCrap: The look on her face after it became obvious that fucking with Touhou Fuhai was really a bad choice is priceless.
* OlderThanSheLooks: She's Moka's ''oldest'' sister, but doesn't look it at all. Touhou Fuhai even lampshades this, noting that she doesn't seem to have aged at all in the last decade.
* OneHitKill: Her blows are so strong that they ''tear through people's bodies like tissue paper''. Only a few are able to survive a direct attack from Aqua.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: She's a vampire like her half-sisters and is one of the most powerful members of the family.
* PetTheDog: Literally when she's shown to absolutely adore the Shuzen family dog Earl Grey, and the feeling seems to be mutual.
* ThePromise: [[spoiler:The real reason why she had tried to destroy the power of Moka's seal was because Akasha had made Aqua promise her to erase the artificial personality based on Akasha created by the rosary so Moka could finally be free again after Alucard's defeat.]]
* PsychoLesbian: Her obsession with Moka certainly makes her come off as an [[IncestSubtext incestuous]] version, and her attempts to kill Tsukune particularly come off as attempts to MurderTheHypotenuse.
* RazorSharpHand: She mastered the Hougetsu Jigen-Tou, the "ultimate blade" that allows the user to "postpone the dimension in which they exist". With this technique, Aqua can cut people's bodies into pieces with her bare hands.
* RedBaron: The Black Devil.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Unlike Moka who is a FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire, Aqua is not a good guy.
* SadisticChoice: [[spoiler:Imposes one on Moka and Touhou Fuhai: Surrender or [[IHaveYourWife your loved ones die.]]]]
* ScrewTheRulesImBeautiful: She tells a mook that she'll decapitate him if he touches Moka again. He and his friends are frightened... until she turns her back and they go back to fawning over her.
