** Nigel shows quite a few cannibalistic tendencies. He threatens to bite down on Tiny to get her to talk, tries to trick one of the caged birds into stepping into his mouth before trying to snap their leg off, and is fed the aforementioned chicken by his owners. Even the other poachers are disgusted by his taste for flesh, as Tipa checks his own fingers after the fact to make sure the bird didn't bite any of them off.

* AnimalStereotypes: Cockatoos are smart, temperamental, bitey, very easily become neurotic, and are ''loud''. They rather routinely outsmart people trying to control them in Australia, where they are often considered a pest. Imagining one as a villain is not much of a stretch ''at all''.
