* SilverHasMysticPowers: He is the first Silver Ranger and the sixth member of the Space Rangers. He also can moved objects with his mind, just as his friend Andros.

* DemotedToExtra: While the Astro Megaship appears in ''Lost Galaxy'', it is not used by the Galaxy Rangers that much and they did not form the Astro Megazord.

* TakingYouWithMe: [[spoiler:During ''Lost Galaxy's'' finale, the Astro Megaship suffered massive damage from the Scorpion Stinger, forcing the team to initiate the self-destruction sequence to take both ships down.]]

A set of five Mega V Zords that combine to form the Mega Voyager. They were stationed on Ganymede as part of a backup plan Zordon had.

* CombiningMecha: A more traditional one compared to the Astro Megazord. Five Mega V Zords that combine to form the Mega Voyager.

* CruelAndUnusualDeath" [[spoiler: Darkonda shoots him InTheBack with one of the planet destroyer missiles, and we get almost a full minute of him writhing in agony as his explosions wrack is body before Darkonda finishes him off with the second missile (but [[TakingYouWithMe crashes into Dark Spectre and dies as well.]]]]

* {{BFG}}: The Mega V3 Missile. It is essentially the top half of the Mega V3 Zord as a rocket launcher.

* AdaptationalBadass: Because the rangers constantly grow in power and experience, the Space rangers are stronger than the Turbo Rangers, in the original sentai there is nothing to indicate that one generation is more powerful or weaker than another.

* AdaptationalBadass: He's based on (though uses a different costume than) King Javious from ''Megaranger'', who in addition to being OrcusOnHisThrone was TheManBehindTheCurtain as well and was predictably killed off by his subordinates at the first opportunity. Specter still doesn't do much, but he's got the firepower and [[NighInvulnerability stamina]] to back up his GalacticConqueror cred. Additionally, whereas the Neziranger plot killed Javious off in the Sentai, he survived the Psycho Ranger plot here (though he still got offed in the end).
* AssholeVictim: He is the last of Darkonda's ambition-driven backstabs before being killed by him. But he is also responsible for the conflicts and evil of this season and the seasons before it, in addition to ruling the universe and using a planet-killer asteroid on the Earth, leaving little sympathy towards his death. He at least makes Darkonda into one as well by taking him down with him.

* DiscOneFinalBoss: He's built up as the Rangers' greatest threat, but is killed off in the penultimate episode before ever truly confronting them, leaving [[TheHeavy Astronema]] as the FinalBoss.

** His connections to the Psycho Rangers and being the ''Megaranger'' villains' boss make him the direct counterpart to [[Series/DenjiSentaiMegaranger Evil Electro-King Javious I]].
** His desire to unify the galaxy under his control makes him the closest thing ''Power Rangers'' will ever have to [[Series/DengekiSentaiChangeman Star King Bazoo]].
** As the ultimate evil of all the other villains, he's the ''real'' adaptation of [[Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger Dai-Satan]], as opposed to Lokar (who used the footage, but was DemotedToExtra).
** Lastly, his size, as well as [[spoiler: his death being at the hands of another villain]], make him one of [[Series/GekisouSentaiCarranger Emperor Exhaus]] (like Lokar, Exhaus's costume was used for a different villain - Goldgoyle - with a different role).

* CanonForeigner: As with Electrotramp from earlier, Kerovan-Ouster is an original ''Power Ranger'' monster with no connection to ''Megaranger''.

Unusually for a Dark Chick, she's THE ''strongest'' '''''and''''' ''toughest'' member of the team, outliving her teammates during the crossover with ''Lost Galaxy'' and being the only Psycho Ranger who successfully killed a ranger (sans the comics' exclusive character Psycho Green).
