A princess of Kumandra's Heart Tribe, Raya was trained by her father to be a warrior and protector of Kumandra's Dragon Gem from young. A certain incident with some guys from the Fang tribe resulted in her trust in others being broken, forcing her to wander the world to reassemble the Gem, during which, she met Sisu. Her warrior training makes her a friendly rival to Mulan, who also went to war and wielded a sword to defeat Shan Yu and the Huns.
