** Taken to a whole new level in "Going Home" when he reveals that he straight-up despised his son from the day he was born, and attempts to kill the people Rumple loves most out of pure spite. Likely the only reason he never tried to out-right kill Rumple is that someone has to continue the bloodline, as he insinuates in "Ariel".

** He's the first Lost Boy; did you expect his childhood was a happy one? We never see his father, but he mentioned that his father sold him to a blacksmith. As of "Think Lovely Thoughts," he himself abandoned his son Rumplestiltskin to gain eternal youth. He was ''very'' neglectful towards Rumple, to the point of putting him in the care of two spinsters so he could continue being a bum. As Pan, he has no trouble [[KickTheDog banishing his son to Pandora's Box]] if he gets in his way.

* PhysicalGod: Quite possibly the worst example in the series, barring the gods themselves. Zelena and Regina fighting her together cannot so much as scratch her. Even after being ''hit by a speeding car'', she shakes it off and seems more irritated when she leaves than worried. [[spoiler:The only weapon able to destroy her was [[InfinityPlusOneSword her very own]].]]

* RebelliousPrincess: She could've just married someone to keep power, she has a different idea.

* VillainHasAPoint: As much as he is a genuine threat, Jafar made certain valid points in the series:
** In "Bad Blood", he viciously rants out against his father for the latter's refusal to acknowledge him as his son and trying to murder him when he was a child. He even chews out his father for spoiling his other son Mirza to be a DirtyCoward.

*** Even when Jafar finally takes Wonderland for himself and changes the laws of magic to become one of the most powerful sorcerers in the world, his father remains defiant and still refuses to acknowledge Jafar's desire, which drove an enraged Jafar to use his magic to make his father love him and die.

* ParentalAbandonment: Despite her tendency for stealing away children, the Black Fairy once had a child of her own but ended up abandoning them in exchange for power. Said abandoned child would grow up to be [[spoiler:Rumplestiltskin. Subverted as she didn't abandon Rumple, she was forcibly separated from when the Blue Fairy banished her.]]

* HateSink: By and large the one of the worst people on the show. While most villains have lines they won’t cross or people they love, or at the very least sympathetic qualities, Peter Pan has none. He’s just a cold abusive, childish narcissist.

* AnOfferYouCantRefuse: Unlike Prime!Rumplestiltskin, who [[BatmanGambit anticipates people that desperately need him and act accordingly]], Wish!Rumplestiltskin is more willing to invade their lives and force them into a deal against their will, such as when he [[spoiler:kidnaps Cinderella and Lucy and ransoms them for Prime!Rumplestiltskin's dagger.]]
* AscendedExtra: Wish!Rumple goes from appearing in two episodes of Season 6 before abruptly disappearing from the story arc and in one of Wish!Hook's flashback episodes [[spoiler:to appearing in the last three episodes of Season 7 and becoming the FinalBoss of the show.]]

* FinalBoss: [[spoiler:Wish!Rumple becomes the final antagonist of ''Once Upon A Time'' after killing off Dr. Facilier, the last of the season's BigBadEnsemble.]]
* ItsPersonal: While Wish!Rumple was perfectly willing to help Regina if she let him out of his prison he decides to imprison and torture her once he finds the skeleton of Belle that was locked inside her dungeon.

* AdaptationalVillainy: In true ''Once'' fashion, he's not the nicest or purest knight. The obsession to complete Excalibur led him to commit evil acts such as using MindManipulation on his wife or using his knights as pawns.

* OverprotectiveDad: In Camelot, Violet's father is concerned that a non-knight like Henry isn't worthy of her and tries to prevent their relationship from budding until Henry proves himself.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: It seems that she might have actually loved Jafar. [[spoiler:Too bad it was one-sided.]]

* OlderThanTheyLook: She hasn't aged since the time she met Jafar as kid.

* AdaptationalVillainy: One of the most villainous versions of the character, and that's even considering that his original book version was no saint.

* BareYourMidriff: Some of her Agrabah outfits consist of this.
* BattleCouple: With Aladdin.

* BerserkButton: Don't remind him that he's a bastard, or you'll regret it.

** The trope namer. He looks to be around the same age as Henry if not a little older but he's Really700YearsOld and acts [[ManipulativeBastard much]] [[TheChessmaster different]] [[TheUnfettered than]] [[KnightOfCerebus his]] appearance implies.

* KidsAreCruel: Subverted, Pan initially appears to be just a young boy, but he's even older than Rumplestiltskin, and only keeps his youth thanks to Neverland's magic.
