* DownerEnding: Managed to beat out Michael for the biggest example of Hell's Kitchen winners. After the show, she was physically abused by her boyfriend, dealt with addiction to drugs and alcohol and ended up with debilitating health problems, to the point that she relies on an an oxygen tank.

** Actually tried to step up to Chef Ramsay, then when called out for it, tried to justify it with his military background. Because it worked out [[SarcasmMode so well]] for the [[Characters/HellsKitchenSeasons6To7 last person who stepped up to him with a similar background]].

* {{Foil}}: To Matt in their dual elimination in Episode 10. Whereas Shaina was calm, said goodbye to her team, and left Hell's Kitchen with a positive attitude, Matt was furious, unrepentant, and cursed out both his own team and Chef Ramsay.

* InformedFlaw: After the ninth service, Paulie accused Koop of using manipulative tactics and having a nasty temper. While Paulie was technically correct about Koop having a temper (and even then, the only time Koop really blew up was after the ninth service), Koop never really displayed anything that could be seen as manipulative.

* OutOfCharacterMoment: He had a few moments of being jerkish, but overall, he was pretty composed and well adjusted, at least compared to the rest of the Blue Team. It's such to the extent in his final night, where he finally blew his top and threw a chair at the wall in a rage, came off as this compared to how he acted throughout the season.

* FatalFlaw: What ultimately destroyed Aaron's chances was his inability to gain respect within his team. Despite being the nicest chef on the Blue Team, he was unfortunately the youngest and most inexperienced chef there, resulting him being inconsistent in the kitchen and thus, never being able to be respected by anyone really. It's such to the extent that he wound up being nominated despite not making a single mistake in service, only because the Blue Team felt he was the weakest overall, and he ended up being eliminated as a result.

* NiceGuy: He was pretty outwardly polite and nice to others, usually only showing frustration or anger in his ConfessionCam moments. And even then, it was typically with himself.

* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Johnny told Ramsay that Genaro lacks passion and laid down like a dead dog during service. When Ramsay asked if this was true, Genaro responded "Which part, chef?"

* GracefulLoser: Took his elimination fairly well, saying goodbye and wishing good luck to the other contestants, and stating that he was proud of making it as far as he did. In short, he took it a lot better than Johnny, Koop and ''especially'' Matt did.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Koop can be kind of a jerk at times, and it's rare he would talk nicely about his fellow chefs, and of course there's his infamous "bitch server" comment. However, compared to the rest of the blue team who themselves were extremely drama prone, as well as the fact that Koop could at least admit his mistakes, he came off as a lot better compared to them.

* BlatantLies: Claimed that nobody on his team gave him a heads up about searing the fish. Cue the recorded footage that exactly shows Shaina telling him to, and him brushing it off.

* BlatantLies: Claimed that nobody on his team gave him a heads up about searing the fish. Cue the recorded footage that exactly shows Shaina telling him to, and him brushing it off. This was also previously followed by him claiming he always takes accountability for his mistakes.

Added DiffLines:

* FatalFlaw: What ultimately sank his chances of winning was his aggressive attitude getting in the way of common sense. This was best shown off when he claimed the blue team didn't sear off the sea bass before service after Shaina suggested he do so, and predictably, it resulted in him putting the blue team ten tables behind. That, alongside him trying to blame others for his mistakes, resulted in him being eliminated without Ramsay even wasting time with dragging it out.

Added DiffLines:

* MercyKill: Somewhat. Gordon did give Johnny a chance to ask about what happened with the sea bass after he failed on it, only for Johnny to blame his team. When Shaina informed Gordon that she told him to sear off the bass (clear with recorded footage showing just that), Gordon pretty much had enough, and eliminated Johnny right there without doing the whole "the chef going home is...".
