He met Baikinman and Dokinchan when the duo wanted to go inside his mansion one night after their UFOs were damaged and let them inside. Though he thought it would be fun to take the form of Baikinman, and chased him alongside Dokinchan until they crashed into a wall. Sokkuri Obake introduces himself to Baikinman and shows off what can can do, Baikinman decides to use him as a double to cause mischief and tricks him into doing his bidding by stealing candy from Usako and destroying the children's sandcastles. But Sokkuri Obake didn't like Baikinman's methods of bullying and tried to make up for his actions, which caused Baikinman to be upset that the ghost was undoing his work. Baikinman decides to trick Sokkuri Obake into showing up at the Bakery as himself to cause trouble. But while Anpanman and the Bakery crew are alarmed to see Baikinman inside, Sokkuri Obake (as Baikinman) is very happy to meet Anpanman and have some of their bread. The real Baikinman is angry at Sokkuri Obake and decides to destroy the park. Sokkuri Obake tries to stop his actions, but he is blown away by Baikinman who sprays muddy water onto Anpanman. The ghost brings Anpanman to the Bakery and tells them what is going on and what Baikinman is doing. Sokkuri Obake decides to stop Baikinman by pretending to be Dokinchan and sabotaging his mecha and causing it to grab him before it explodes Baikinman back to his mansion, where he gets chased by the real Dokinchan as she thinks he's a ghost. The bakery crew was happy to meet Sokkuri Obake and hopes to meet him again soon and the ghost says his goodbyes to them.

* MeaningfulName: In Japanese, "''Negai''" means wish and "''Hoshi''" means star.
* PinkGirlBlueBoy: Kanae is pink, and Negai is blue.

* PunnyName: Aside from the obvious, there's one that's LostInTranslation: Tendonman's behavior is based on that of a ''[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chindon%27ya chindon-ya]]'', a kind of street performer used to advertise businesses, performances, and the like. Tendonman, being the first of the donburi characters introduced, sings the praises of ''himself''. This behavior spread first to the other members of the trio, and then the other donburi characters in general, although the pun only really makes sense with Tendonman.

* TheRival: Pretty much to the Donburiman Trio and Currypanman. Though they become in friendly terms at the end.

* FlyCrazy: Was like this when he stole Anpanman's cape. He gets better in his second appearance when he borrows Melonpanna's cape. Even his small cameo before his return in flying shows he's already good at it.

* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: His interest of tap dancing wasn't added to his character until his second episode with Horrorman.

When Batako was sick, she tells Anpanman to get some cotton candy from Watame Jisan as it can help make her throat feel a bit better. But when Anpanman was in town, he sees a long line of customers getting cotton candy and was worried he wouldn't get any as Watame Jisan only comes once a year. Making things worse Baikinman was pretending to be a rich person so he can be the first to get Watame Jisan's treat, only for the villain to dissapear with the old man out of sight as he used his magic can to put him to sleep. Dokinchan sees that Anpanman is following them after the pair vanished with Watame Jisan, so Baikinman uses the magic cane again to make cotton candy for her and created cotton candy copies of Baikinman to stop the hero. He disguises himself as one of the cotton candy copies to use his cane to stop Anpanman again. Dokinchan is happy and wants Watame Jisan to make some cotton candy, but he was stillunder hyponiois and wakes him up and demands him to make her some. As he found out what happened to Anpanman, Watame Jisan creates a giant cotton candy copy of the hero and was able to stop Baikinman just before he shocks Anpanman. Baikinman was defeated as he accidently shocks himself with the cane and puts himself into hyposnis, and Anpanman was able to give Batako cotton candy with the large Anpanman cotton candy copy given by Watame Jisan.

* OutOfFocus: After his debut story, Watame Jisan was mostly in he background in episodes that focus around festivals. It wasn't until 2015 and later in the 2020s he would have more focus episodes.

In her debut story, she shows up to town and gives out her konpeitos to the children and tells them that they're pieces of a shooting star and you can make a wish on them if you eat one. Everyone overhears this, including Baikinman and Dokinchan, and swiped her whole basket of candies as they want to make wishes for themselves. Anpanman, Shoukpanman, and the bakery decided to help Konpeito-san make a new batch of her candies. But she is worried that her lies that her star-bit candies can actually grant wishes would get back at her, which they do as Dokinchan yells at Baikinman that the candies only gave her toothaches instead of her wishes being granted. Baikinman kidnaps Konpeito-san when he sees her by the bakery and both villains confront her on giving the star bit that can grant Dokinchan's wish. However, Anpanman and Shoukpanman were able to rescue her by stopping Baikinman, and somewhat granting Dokinchan's wish as she gets surprised by Shoukpanman showing up behind her. Later that day, Konpeito-san amdits to Uncle Jam that her candies aren't really star bits. But he makes her feel better about the time Anpanman was born out of shooting stars.

In his original book, Ankora was causing trouble in the town as he was stealing sweets from shops. Batako tells Uncle Jam and Anpanman about it and decided to put a stop to it. Because Ankora has a sweet tooth, Uncle Jam decided to change it to curry to chase the giant away.

An alien robot who specializes on producing tin toys for others. He also has trouble landing his ship at times.

In his debut story, he crash lands near Uncle Jam's bakery, causing some of the citizens to wake up on what was going on. Anpanman decides to investigate the crash and meets with the alien robot and reveals that he's non-hostile and friendly as he gives out tin toys to the kids. Tin Kid later tells Uncle Jam about his ship and says he'll help get it repaired. While he repairs Tin Kid's ship, Anpanman and the kids show him around the town. Baikinman finds out about the robot and decides to cause trouble by putting a mind control device inside his body to be evil and defeat Anpanman. But this was thwarted as the children wanted to give something back to Tin Kid, which causes Baikinman's mind control device to override his mind and after the device was knocked out, reprogrammed himself back to his normal state after inserting the gifts inside himself. Tin Kid was able to hold off Baikinman until Anpanman was able to get his new head and defeat Baikinman off.

He first met Anpanman when he got himself lost in the woods and was hungry. Violin-kun then demonstrates to Anpanman on what he does and thinks the kid's music is very sweet. He invites Violin-kun to the bakery and decides to play music for them as well. But he wanted to perform for more people and decided to play his music publicly in the town. Baikinman and Dokinchan saw him performing and decided to kidnap him as they wanted him to perform music for them. So they took him at their summer house and Dokinchan told the violinist to play for them, which he does as he played some dance music for the two, though Baikinman didn't want to dance with her. After Dokinchan leaves, Baikinman tells Violin-kun to play music for him as well, but this is stopped as Anpanman and Cheese find the kidnapped kid at the summer house. Violin-kun is able to distract Baikinman with his music and the villain decides to leave him alone. After that, Violin-kun decided to perform one last time for the bakery before leaving.

* JuniorCounterpart: He's very much a younger version of Mr. Cellohiki, as they're both ell dressed musicans that are associted with classical music that used stringed instruments with his heads based on said instrument. They're also very friendly towards animals.

* LongBusTrip: He first vanished between his interaction with Rollpanna (2007) and his outting with Cheese (2012). His last episode was with Shokupanman in 2014, and hasn't appeared since.

A clown who likes playing the tambourine. He lives at Doremifa Island.

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: The only major characters Peter hasn't interacted yet are Kokinchan, Poppo-chan and Creampanda.

* YourSizeMayVary: Peter's size changes throughout the show's run. Sometimes he's is about 1/4 the size of Anpanman or can be very tiny that he is slightly larger than Ant Kid.

A man with an accordion as a head who likes to sing and makes other happy.

He first met Anpanman as the hero was trying to stop Baikinman from attacking Miss Mimi and the children as they were picking flowers, and Accordionman stopped the villain as his music sobered the villain to kick Baikinman away. Anpanman told the bakery crew about the music and Accordionman paid a visit to play his music to them. Just as Accordionman is playing music for everyone in the town, Baikinman kidnaps him for what happened earlier and tries to torture the musician by stretching the bellows on his face, but Dokinchan was woken up by this and wants to hear his music. She loves Accordionman's music and she wants to dance to it and drags Baikinman to it, much to his annoyance that he tries to attack him. Anpanman tries to rescue the musician, but Baikinman's attacks are very strong that he was trapped. Accordionman decides to help out by distracting Baikinman with his accordion music, though the villain uses earmuffs to block out the music which causes him to ignore Anpanman's warning that a boulder is about to hit him. Regardless, Anpanman punches Baikinman out and Accordionman plays music for everyone at the bakery.

* UnreliableIllustrator: Accordionman's bellows (the part where you extend the accordian to make the sounds) and hands are a light cream color, but the encyclopedia depicts them to be much darker.

A water fairy who plays the lyre. She plays near Tongari Island at a underwater temple known as "Lunar Capital" whenever it's a full moon.

Anpanman and the bakery crew heard about the fairy as Kamome-san told them about the other night he flew by Tongari Island and heard some beautiful music. He decided to investigate where the music is coming from and met the fairy as she was playing in front of other sea creatures and thought her music was wonderful. Baikinman and Dokinchan also caught up with the musical fairy as they were lurking at the ocean and Dokinchan thought Luna's instrument was wonderful and wanted it for herself. Baikinman decides to kidnap Luna and Anpanman tries to chase after them, but was caught in a trap planted by the villains. Dokinchan tries to play the lyre, but it makes a horrible sound and thought the instrument was broken. Luna warns them that it can only be played in the water, but the villains ignore her and decided to try destroying it. But not before Anpanman freed himself and stopped the duo from causing anymore trouble. Luna was able to play her music once more and Anpanman, the bakery crew and all the sea creatures enjoyed it.

* AdvertisedExtra: Luna was added on the official website in the 2010s/2020s, but hasn't appeared in the show since the 1990s.

* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Luna has gold hair, has a friendly personality and plays beautiful music.
* LongBusTrip: Her only speaking appearnce was her debut episode and her last on screen appearnce was in the 1995 home video special "Everyone Gather, It's Christmas!". Luna never appeared anymore after that.

* InstrumentOfMurder: Her Whistle of Darkness. It can be used to feed off of good emotions and leaves the victim depressed.

* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: She acts a similar role to Rollpanna, as she was originally a nice character before being corrupted by the villain of the story (Baikinman corrupted Rollapana as he poisoned her with dark energy, while Black Nose took her a baby bird) but hangs out with Melonpanna who helps them out turning over a new leaf.

In his debut story, he was mimicking as a regular pillow in the woods and caused Baikinman to fall asleep with his sleeping powers. Baikinman saw the pillow and fell asleep on it and Makura Kozo was able to see the villain's dream to defeat Anpanman. After revealing himself to Baikinman, Makura Kozo decides to team up with him to stop Anpanman. Later that day Baikinman pretends to be a delivery man and gives Anpanman a package claiming it's from someone who saved him the other day and was a gift for him, said gift turns out to be Makura Kozo. After finding out what was Anpanman's nightmare, Makura lets Baikinman inside Anpanman's dream so he can defeat the hero. Batako and Uncle Jam found out that Anpanman's head was being eaten thanks to Baikinman's miniature selves eating it, so they hurried and made extra heads until Baikinman was full and Anpanman was able to figure out that the pillow was the cause of his problems. Both Makura Kozo and Baikinman ran off afterward.

** Makura's episode with Horrorman makes it apparent that he's much more on friendly terms with Anpanman since their first encounter. Anpanman and the Bakery crew weren't hesitant in letting Makura in. The fact Anpanman and Melonpanna were happy and supportive to go with him alongside Horrorman to see Dokinchan's dream makes helps support he's more on the heroes side in that story.

* LongBusTrip: His last major episode was in 1993, while his last onscree appearnce was in 1999 and hasn't had an appearnce since then.

In her debut story, she sees a reflection of the sun in the river after admiring it and orders her coachman Avocado Jiya to fetch it. Just as Avocado Jiya is telling his majesty that he can't get the sun, Baikinman shows up and uses his bucket with the sun's reflection to pour all over Duiran. The princess scolds at Baikinman for his actions, but he doesn't care and starts to attack her, though Anpanman is there to save her from Baikinman's actions. Durian admires Anpanman and wants him to be his knight and offers the bakery crew her delicious fruit bowl, but he is reluctant as he has to patrol for others. So Durian goes on a wild chase to find him. Baikinman overhears this and decides to cause trouble for the two by giving trouble to the townspeople and calling out Anpanman's name. This kept going until both Baikinman and Durian were tired out, though Anpanman gives the princess a piece of his head seeing as she was pooped out. Though this doesn't last as Baikinman shows up to attack the two. The kids were able to distract Baikinman as Anpanman told her to go get help. She was able to deliver Anpanman's new head and was able to stop Baikinman by giving her a spikey durian for Anpanman to deliver the final punch. She told Anpanman at the end that she felt much better after understanding Anpanman's courage.

Princess Durian's loyal servant and coachman. He is also there to present the princess every time she makes her grand appearnce. Despite his age and dealing with the antics of the selfish princess, Avocado Jiya is always there to serve his majesty.

In his debut story, he was trying to help his majesty get the sun's reflection in the river after admiring it. But tis didn't go well as the reflection kept vanishing after picking it up and was telling the princess that he couldn't get it. They get attacked by Baikinman after hearing about the sun's reflection but are saved by Anpanman. Because the Princess wanted Anpanman to be her knight, Avocado Jiya went alongside during the wild goose chase until they were tired out. Just as they are relaxed, Baikinman shows up and tries to attack Anpanman and has to get help from Uncle Jam to make his new head to stop Baikinman.

* LongBusTrip: After her inital debut, Candy vanished from the show until 2004 when she interacted with Creampanda. Then quickly vanished after her interaction with Currypanman in 2005 until a decade later when she interacted with Miss Mimi during a camping trip with some her students.
* PrimaryColorChampion: Her colors are mainly pink, blue and yellow and she wants to be a knight to her kingdom.

Baikinman and Dokinchan first encountered her when she was playing her ocarina, and Dokinchan wanted to take her instrument as she thought it sounded wonderful. Baikinman swipes it from the Princess and Dokinchan tries to play it, but it doesn't work. After refusing to give it back, the two try to leave but are stopped by Anpanman. Though both Anpanman were defeated by Baikinman's umbrella missiles and Dokinchan destroyed Princess Ocarina's instrument. They return to the bakery where the Princess gets healed, though she feels upset as she's on a mission and can't finish it without her Green Ocarina. Uncle Jam says that they can make another one by collecting the materials they need, though this is thwarted a few times by Baikinman as he tries to cut all the branches off a tree and tries to get the Princess' new instrument as Dokinchan still wants it. Anpanman was able to stop him and the Princess was able to finish her mission after her new Green Ocarina was complete.

After Princess Sunny talks to Uzumakiman about how can she be on land, he thinks the only one that can do something about the subject would be her relative Umimajo, which the Princess swims away to see what Umimajo can do. Umimajo shows Sunny a red starfish hair ornament that can be used to transform mermaids into humans, but she refuses to give it to her as it's cursed by a monster. Sunny decides to take the ornament regardless of what Umimajo warned her and gains legs after being swept away from the storm. Umimajo finds out about both Sunny and the red starfish missing, so she alongside Gorongoro goes out to see where Sunny had vanished to and warns her that she has to come back and take off her ornament before the curse of the monster comes back to cause trouble. Sunny refuses, so Umimajo and Gorongoro head off to tell what is going on. Baikinan overhears this and decides to see what this cursed monster was, which he finds is Gorongora from a previous adventure. Umimao and the rest of Uzumaki Castle find out that Gorongora was awakened with Baikinman being in control of the monster. She tries to defend the castle but gets turned into a starfish thanks to Gorongora, though she turns back after Princess Sunny and Anpanman stopped Gorongora.

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: She hasn't interacted ith Kokin-chan.

A man with a bread with chocolate liquid inside. He likes to deliver chocolate pans to others during Valentines Day. As such, he sometimes have competition with Chocolateman.

In his debut story, he was delivering sweets to Miss Mimi's class in Valetine's Day when he met Shoukpanman during his daily deliiveries. But Shoukpanman tells Chocolatepanman that it wasn't Valetine's Day yet and offers him to see Uncle Jam to make the best chocolatepan for when the day comes.

* AdvertisedExtra: He appears a lot in the show's eighth opening and is one of the characters on the offical ebsite, but Chocolatepanman only had two major episodes early in the show's run.

* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: He's similar to Chocolateman; a man who specializes in delivering chocolate during Valentine's Day and rides a motor bike. They ended clashing heads with each other in episode 120a "The Missing Valetine Chocolate".

* LongBusTrip: Halloweenman was very prominent during the first decade of the show, but after his interaction with Horrorman in 1997, he mainly only shows up as small cameos unntil another 7 years in 2004 when he interacted with Creampanda.

* AmbiguouslyRelated: She and SL-Man are the only sentient trains in the series, but there's no indication or questioning that they're related prior to the two meeting each other in 1089a. It mostly implies that they're just seperate from other blood related.

A square-headed ogre that lives in Shikaku Mountain. He doesn't like anything that isn't a square or rectangle, and would use his club to turn things into that shape.

Baikinman heard about this creature before and makes a disguise for both himself and Dokinchan to meet him and trick him into thinking that Anpanman is a bad guy because he has a round head, and agrees to defeat him. Shikaku Oni goes out turning round objects into squares until he encounters Anpanman and tries to attack him. Shoukpanman rescues Anpanman and just as Anpanman is restored, Shikaku Oni bangs at the Bakery door to confront Anpanman again, though with Shoukpanman havinga square head and Dokinchan's obsession with him, Baikinman's plan was foil once it's revealed he isn't a square-headed person,, which Shikaku Oni gets upset and tries to attack, but Baikinman knocks over the ogre and deflects Anpanman and Shoukpanman's punch. Baikinman was about to attack them with a laser, but because Shikaku Oni turned his UFO into squares including the attendees, the lasers instead destroy it, causing Baikinman to fly off. Shikaku Oni apologizes for what he did, and while he would still hate things that round, he won't be against Anpanman. He runs off back to his mountain before he can cause anymore damage.

* AmbiguousSituation: It's debatable if Shikaku Oni is classified as a holiday character. His episodes with Sankakuman, Creampanda and Horrorman take place during Setsubun (A Japanese holiday that takes place in the first week of February on getting rid of evil demons), but his first and fifth episodes are not associated with the holiday (his debut story aired on December, while the latter aired on January).

In their debut story, they met Anpanman after Hotate tried to attack the windmill where Uncle Jam was getting flour as he thought it was a monster, but got stuck on one of the blades. After being rescued, the duo rest at the bakery and tells the crew that he wants to show that he's brave, and Anpanman tells about Baikinman and the old knight wants to defeat him. But Sancho is afraid that his master would hurt himself as he doesn't know if Hotate can defeat Baikinman. So Anpanman decides to pretend he's Baikinman to help Hotate from harming himself. However, that didn't work as the real Baikinman was able to defeat Anpanman.

* CartoonCreature: Sancho Panda is supposed to be a panda, but he doesn't look like one due to him lacking features like spots.

He met Anpanman in his debut story as Melonpanna finds an old broken clock while cleaning the bakery garage, and Uncle Jam tells them that he knows someone who can fix it. Baikinman also met him as well under a disguise as Dokinchan broke her Shokupanman alarm clock and decided to get it repaired from the old master.

** In episode 759b, Dokinchan revisited her memories of when she first fell in love with Shokupanman and after freeing him, Past Dokinchan hid behind the bushes and revealed she bonked herself on a tree. Later during the fight, Dokichan was able to stop Baikinman from attacking Shokupanman. But it was never stated if the Dokinchan who stopped him was the one that hid behind the bushes and hit the tree or it was the future Dokinchan.
** Episode 838b has Anpanman, Melonpanna and Creampanda seeing how Rollpanna was created. Creampanda spotted Baikinman outside the bakery as he is going to tamper with Uncle Jam's creation and shouted out what was he saw. But Anpanman covers his mouth as they don't want to alter the past, indicating that they can't mess with it.

** The only major characters he hasn't hung with are Currypanman, Shokupanman, Kokin-chan (as she didn't appear until later in 2007) and the Donburiman Trio.

* LongBusTrip: His last episode was with Horrorman in 2007 and hasn't used since. And due to his actor passed away in 2014, it's uknown if he'll come back.

A portable oven-headed man who makes bakery goods from his head. In his debut episode, Baikinman wanted him to rust Uncle Jam's oven door so he could defeat Anpanman. So he told a lie that Uncle Jam is better than Panpon, then aske him to rust the oven door.

* BabiesMakeEverythingBetter: In one episode, he sees that Butterko likes babies, so he decided to transform into one so he can spend time with her. However, it didn't go that well when everyone else is trying to take care of him instead.

A small guy who works at [[HotSpringsEpisode a hot springs]]. His hot springs were tampered with by Baikinman, so he had to find another location.

She encountered Anpanman as she was trying to get across the hot dessert, but after dropping her cup hat with her drink, causing her to collapsed. Thankfully, Anpanman was able to take Kappaccino to the bakery where despite being weak was able to make a cup of her signautre drink to regain her energy. Kappaccino asked Anpanman to help find the best place she can use as a source of water to make more of her drink, but couldn't find the best one until they met Uncle Bear who suggested the lake up onto of the mountains would be good for her. Unfortunately, the lake was polluted as Baikinman was trying to build a summer house for Dokinchan after accidentally interrupting her nap

A sandwich-headed girl who runs a hot sandwich diner at the beach off of Marine when going to Route 67. She is also good at singing and dancing when serving to her customers.

She first met Anpanman and the Bakery crew when they alongside the children are going to the beach at Route 67. Baikinman and Dokinchan found out about the girl and wanted to go visit her place to try out her hot sandwiches as they disguised themselves as upper-class people, thinking they'd be the first to try out her sandwiches. But that didn't go through as Hot Sandwich told them that they'd have to wait as she has run out of ingredients. So the duo decided to kidnap her to make the hor sandwiches for them. Dokinchan snatches the girl into a sack and decides to ruin her sandwiches by adding a lot of spices and disguising herself as the sandwich girl.

* BareMidriffsAreFeminine: Hot Sandwich only wears a bikini and roller blades.

* MaltShop: Hot Sandwich's diner is modeled after American diners from the 1950s and 1960s, serving mainly hot sanswiches and cold soft drinks.

In his debut story, he was delivering wooden blocks when he stumbled a giant blocking his way, but it turns out to be a giant inflatable created by Baikinman. Baikinman tries to take his cargo, thinking it was chocolate until he broke his teeth and buries Tsumikiman with the blocks. Anpanman finds him and helps put his truck back up and get him out of the buried blocks. Tsumikiman tells the Bakery that he wants to build a park with his building blocks, which they decide to help him out. Baikinman decides to ruin the fun by destroying Tsumikiman's castle and he gets mad that he transforms into a train to chase after him, but Baikinman knocks him out that he caught Tsumikiman's heart. Tsumikiman begs him to return it back, but Baikinman has other ideas by kidnapping him and painting his heart with black paint and turn Tsumikiman into a mindless weapon to destroy Anpanman. Just as Baikinman is about to kill Anpanman after Tsumikiman ran him over as a tank, Tsumikiman came back to life after his heart was washed away of the black paint and traps Baikinman so Anpanman can punch him out. Tsumikiman was able to make his park and the children enjoyed it. Though Dokinchan wasn't happy as her lover Shoukpanman hasn't shown up as expected.

* LongBusTrip: After his debut story, Tsumikiman only had small camoes in both episode 191b and the 1992 film short and vanished for 18 years until he came back in a small cameo in the 2010 film short, and later got a whole episode to himself after 22 years. Then he vanished again until 2023 when he interacted with SL-Man.

Though this doesn't last as Baikinman shows up to attack the two. The kids wer able to distract Baikinman as Anpanman tells her to go get help. She was able to deliver Anpanman's new head and was able to stop Baikinman by giving her a spikey durian for Anpanman to deliver the final punch. She told Anpanman at the end that she feels much better after understanding Anpanman's courage.

* BreakoutCharacter: After her debut story, Durian appears a few more times during the tale end of the cel animated run until she started to become a recurring character later in the show's run. She appeared almost every year with the exceptions of 1999, 2001, 2009, 2012, 2014 and 2016.

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: In the eighth opening, she was seen alongside Omusubiman, Naganegiman, Yakisobapanman and Nigauriman. While she would later interact with Naganegiman three times (752a, 971a and 1007a), Yakisobapanman (798a) and Nigauriman (879a), she hasn't interacted with Omusubiman since that opening.

In his debut story, he was trying to help his majesty on getting the sun's reflection in the river after admiring it. But tis didn't go well as the refletion keeps vanishing after picking it up and was telling the princess that he can't get it. They get attacked by Baikinman after hearing about the sun's reflection, but were saved by Anpanman. Because the Princess wanted Anpanman to be her knight, Avocado Jiya went alongside during the wild goose chase until they were tired out. Just as they were relaxed, Baikinman shows up and tries to attack Anpanman and had to get help from Uncle Jam to make his new head to stop Baikinman.

* EdibleThemeNaming: Avocados are fruits that grew in certain part of North and South America.

The princess of Sugar Land that wants to be a knight. She carries a giant sword made of candy and rides around in a senitent toy horse.

In her debut story, she wanted to protect Melonpanna and the kids from Baikinman's baseball terrorism, but that didn't go as planned as she quickly fell off of her horse and was attacked alongside them. Though she was saved from Anpanman and wanted to play with him. Candy chases after the hero, but once she caught up with him, Anpanman tells her that he's busy on patrol and leaves. Baikinman overhears this and decides to cause trouble for the princess by pretending he's Anpanman and uses a sword to battle her. But the sword was just a party popper filled with Beroberomen and they quickly licked her sword. Baikinman reveals himself to Candy and traps her in a hole. Anpanman tries to rescue her, but the Beroberomen started to attack the two and gets sprayed with water. The princess was able to grab Anpanman on her horse and tries to get away from Baikinman until they got help from the townsfolk to get Anpanman's new head. She was able to understand what Anpanman's work meant and goes off to be a better person.

A girl who travels with her instrument known as "The Green Ocarina" that is known for making plant life grow. She was sent out by her kingdom to help the trees and plants grow after Winter is done.

Baikinmana and Dokinchan first encountered her when she was playing her ocarina, and Dokinchan wanted to take her instrument as she thought it sounded wonderful. Baikinman swipes it from the Princess and Dokinchan tries to play it, but it doesn't work. After refusing to give it back, the two try to leave, but were stopped by Anpanman. Though both Anpanman was defeated by Baikinman's umbrella missles and Dokinchan destroying Princess Ocarina's instrument. They retrive to the bakery where the Princess gets healed, though she feels upset as she's on a mission and can't finish it without her Green Ocarina. Uncle Jam says that they can make another one by collecting the materials they need, though this was thwated a few times by Baikinman as he tries to cut all the branches off a tree and tries to get the Princess' new instrument as Dokinchan was still wants it. Though Anpanman was able to stop him and the Princess was able to finish her mission after her new Green Ocarina was complete.

* AmbiguousSituation: She resembles Rina-chan from the 1998 film "The Palm of the Hand to the Sun", but it's never stated if she is a differernt character from Ocarina or if she is the film version of that character. Not helping is that Rina only appeared in that movie and Ocarina never appeared in any of the films.

An eldery mermaid who is also a witch. She lives at Uzumaki Castle and a relative to Princess Sunny in the 2000 film "The Tears of the Mermaid Princess".

After Princess Sunny talks to Uzumakiman about how can she be on land, he thinks the only one that can do something about the subect wuold her relative Umimajo, which the Princess swims away to see what Umimajo can do. Umimajo shows Sunny a red starfish hair ornament that can be used to transform mermaids into humans, but she refuses to give it to her as it's cursed by a monster. Sunny decides to take the ornament regardless what Umimajo warned her and gains legs after being swept away from the storm. Umimajo finds out about both Sunny and the red starfish missing, so she alongside with Gorongoro went out to see where Sunny had vanish off to and warn her that she has to come back and take off her ornament before the curse of the monster comes back to cause trouble. Sunny refuses, so Umimajo and Gorongoro head off to tell what is going on. Baikinan overhears this and decides to see what this cursed monster was, which he finds was Gorongora from a previous adventure. Umimao and the rest of Uzumaki Castle find out that Gorongora was awaken with Baikinman being in control oft he monster. She tries to defend the castle, but gets turned into a starfish thanks to Gorongora, though she turns back after Princess Sunny and Anpanman stopped Gorongora.

* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Umimajo is more mermaid like in the film. But in the book adapation, her skin is the same as her tale, making her more fish like.

* RedHerring: First time viewers would think Umimajo would be the villian due to her being similar to the Hans Christian Andersen story "The Little Mermaid" and various adpations depict the sea witch as a bad guy. But it turns out Umimajo isn't and is just concerned for Sunny's safety and doesn't want her to use the starfish as it's cursed.

A pumpkin-headed ghost who represents the spirit of Halloween. A long time ago, there was a ghost wondering at Halloween who is very scared and uses a carved pumpkin as a lantern. Said pumpkin was used as a form of the creation of Halloweenman who wanders around said holiday. When Baikinman and Dokinchan overheard the story of the legendary Halloweenman, they decided to use it to disguise themselves as the ghost to scare the trick-or-treaters to get their candy. Anpanman later encounters the real Halloweenman and figured out what was going on after he found out that it was Baikinman and Dokinchan that was causing trouble for the children. They decided to paid out the villianous duo for what they they were doing by playing a trick against them. Once Baikinman saw the real Halloweenman, he tries to fight against him, but after pulling his cape down, the floating pumpkin head starts following the villians with Anpanman warning them about their actions. After the two villians ran off, Anpanman and Halloweenman were able to give back the stolen candy and Halloween night was back to being fun.

* TheCape: Averted. It's clear with his every appearance that he has ''tremendous'' power at his disposal, and he ''does'' unambiguously use it for good when he has to. However, all he really seems to want to do is chill and vibe at Halloween parties.

* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: He comes off as a TrueNeutral spectre in his first appearance, with his "wandering spirit" backstory played up more and accidentally scaring others. In his debut story, SL Man was a rusted steam engine who was trying to away from a fierce storm, but a bolt of lightning struck a tree on top of him, and was in a coma until Baikinman kidnapped the engine as he thought he wasn't sentient. SL-Man got his full strength back after he ate some of Dokin-chan's fruit and wanted to repay the two villains, which Baikinman takes the opportunity to trick the locomotive into thinking Anpanman is the enemy. He tricks SL-Man to push the bakery off a cliff, but Anpanman was to convince him that he's a good guy and stops Baikinman after being tricked.

** He had a lever that can either turn or shut him off. If he's shut off, he'll be in a non-static form.

* NiceGuy: After he reformed his ways in his debut story, SL-Man is very nice towards almost anyone.

* PromotionToOpeningTitles: She appeared in the eleventh opening after 13 years after her intinal debut.

* SirNotAppearingInThisTrailer: Despite appearing a few times after her initial appearance in the show, Poppo-chan never appeared in the show's ninth and tenth openings. Compare to Kokin-chan, who despite only appearing in episodes prior to the show's revamp of the ninth opening, was promoted as a billing character in the show. Poppo-chan would later appear in the first episode's title card once the show transitioned to widescreen and would be seen on the show's eleventh opening.

A square-headed orge that lives in Shikaku Mountain. He doesn't like anything that isn't a square or rectangle, and would use his club to turn things into that shape.

Baikinman heard about this creature before, and makes a disguise for both himself and Dokinchan to meet him and trick him into thinking that Anpanman is a bad guy because he has a round head, and agrees to defeat him. Shikaku Oni goes out turning round obects into squares until he encounters Anpanman and tries to attack him. Shoukpanman rescues Anpanman and just as Anpanman was restored, Shikaku Oni bangs at the Bakery door to confront Anpanman again, though with Shoukpanman havinga square head and Dokinchan's obbession with him, Baikinman's plan was foil once it's revealed he isn't a square headed person,, which Shikaku Oni gets upset and tries to attack, but Baikinman knocks over the orge and deflects Anpanman and Shoukpanman's punch. Baikinman was about to attack them with a laser, but because Shikaku Oni turned his UFO into squares including the attenteas, the lasers instead destroy it, causing Baikinman flying off. Shikaku Oni apolgizes for what he did, and while he would still hate things that round, he won't be against Anpanman. He runs off back to his ountain before he can cause anymore damage.

* AmbiguousSituation: It's debtable if Shikaku Oni is classified as a holiday character. His episodes with Sankakuman, Creampanda and Horrorman take place during Setsubun (A Japanese holiday that takes place in the first week of February on getting rid of evil demons), but his first and fifth episodes are not associted with the holiday (his debut story aired on December, while the latter aired on January).
* AmbiguouslyEvil: Due to his nature, it's unknown on Shikaku Oni being evil due to him being misguided by Baikinman a few times. Even then, when he interacted with Omusubiman te second time, Shikaku Oni attacked him due to his bag of round fruit. The only time where he wasn't malicious was his interaction with Creampanda as the two were having fun playing games.

A triangle-headed man that uses a spear that turns objects ino triangles. He goes on a rampage after Baikinman tricks him into thinking nobody appreciates triangles.

* LongBusTrip: He appeared a few times in the early to mid 1990s, but suddently vanished aside from a small cameo in the 2001 Christmas special. Zamasu would come back in 2022 when he was paired up with Batako, and later with Melonpanna, Rollpanna, and Princess Durian.

A teacher with a book for a head who is very smart likes to be on time and things to be organized and be just right. In his debut story, he was there to substitute Miss Mimi after she was away. But was kidnapped by Dokinchan after Bakin-Sensei's remark to Baikinman that he had an empty head and lacked any knowledge to stop Anpanman, and thought on using him as a teacher would fix it. Unfortunately, this backfired as Baikinman wasn't interested and tied the teacher up and toss him out. Thankfully, Anpanman spotted the two and rescued the teacher.

* CharacterizationMarchesOn: In his debut story, he tends to blow his temper whenever he sees anything disorangized. His later appearnces don't have this trait.

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: As of 2020, the only main characters hasn't interactd with Melonpanna, Rollpanna and Kokin-chan.

A boy who lives in the desert regions. He rides on a magic carpet and he has a scared music box that can produce rain.

* AmbiguouslyRelated: He resmbles the Rainbow Prince due to them being the only human looking characters that wear turbans and use a magic carpet. But it's unknown if they are related or not.

A toaster headed man who makes hot toast out of his head. But he's very picky when it comes with the best bread and sauces to use for his toasts.

In his debut episode, he dropped by Miss Mimi's class after hearing Shokupanman's bread is good, but doubts that the bread is any good as he never tasted it. When Baikinman and Dokinchan overheard this, they decided to convince Toasterman that they're very good bakers and have the best bread and offer him to come over their place to try it out, and loves it very much. That bread turns out to be Shokupanman's, the very same that Toasterman refused to try out.

* BlushSticker: He has a pair of permeant blush on his cheeks.

* HighPressureEmotion: When he makes toast, his head turns red hot. This also came in handy when Baikinman makes Anpanman's new head wet, and he uses it to heat up the moisture.
* IdiotBall: The main coflict in his episode is that Toasterman refuses to toast Shokupanman's bread as he doesn't think it's good. But what makes it baffling is that Toasterman doesn't want to taste it. It's not until Baikinman and Dokinchan convinced him to try it out (abliet it was stolen from them).

** He can only toast certain breads if he thinks it's worthy for him.

An old knight who tries to be the best at fighting enemies and protecting others, accompanied by a small panda and rides on a large snail named Denden Musinante (デンデン・ムシナンテ). Due to his age, Hotate would get delusions of creatures that are just mudane objects.

* EyeGlasses: Sancho Panda wears a pair that resemble sunglasses.

* LongBusTrip: The group appeared a few times during the show's 10 year run, but they vanish after their digital ink appeaance in episode 615 with their second encounter with Horrorman. They would return once the show transitioned again to 16:9 with Creampanda, but Don would have a small cameo two years later in the 2013 film and they haven't made any more appearances since then. Not helping that Don Ki Hotate's actor Joji Yanami retired from acting in 2015 and died in 2021, so it's unknown when they'll come back.
* ScatterbrainedSenior: Hotate is very old and can often see delusions out of mudane objects.

A microphone-headed announcer. He met Anpanman after falling off a small cliff. He is seen mostly announcing sport events.

He met Anpanman in his debut story as Melonpanna finds an old broken clock while cleaning the bakery garage, and Uncle Jam tells them that he knows someone that can fix it. Baikinman also met him as well under a disguise as Dokinchan broke her Shokupanman alarm clock and decides to get it repaired from the old master.

* AmbiguousSituation: It's never fully established if visiting the memories in Furudokei-san's large room is exactly time travel and if you can alter events due to him only appearing a few episodes and his interactions with Creampanda and Horrorman just have the two seeing their memories. And if so, are there any consquences for changing the past?

** In episode 759b, Dokinchan revisited her memories of when she first fell in love with Shokupanman and after freeing him, Past Dokinchan hid behind the bushes and reveals she bonked herself on a tree. Later during the fight, Dokichan was able to top Baikinman from attacking Shokupanman. But it was never stated if the Dokinchan who stopped him was the one that hid behind the bushesand hit the tree or it was the future Dokinchan.

Twin sisters that like building and repairing vehicles and other types of machinery. Their names are Pla-chan (プラちゃん) and Mai-chan (マイちゃん).

She encountered Anpanman as she was trying to get across the hot dessert, but after dropping her cup hat with her drink, causing her to collaspe. Thankfully, Anpanman was able to take Kappaccino to the bakery where despite being weak was able to make a cup of hr signautre drink to regain her energy. Kappaccino asked Anpanman to help find the best place she can use as a source of water to make more of her drink, but couldn't find the best one until they met Uncle Bear who suggested the lake up onto of the mountains would be good for her. Unfortunality, the lake was polluted as Baikinman was trying to build a summer house for Dokinchan after accidently interrupting her nap

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: The only main characters she hasn't interacted are Rollpanna and Currypanman.

A sandwich headed girl who runs a hot sandwich diner at the beach off of Marine when going to Route 67. She is also good at singing and dancing when serving to her customers.

She first met Anpanman and the Bakery crew when they alongside with the children are going to the beach at Route 67. Baikinman and Dokinchan found out the girl and wanted to go visit her place to try out her hot sandwiches as they disguise themselves as upper class people, thinking they'll be the first to try out her sandwiches. But that didn't go through as Hot Sandwhich told them that they'll have to wait as she has run out of ingredidents. So the duo decided to kidnapped her to make the hor sandwiches for them. Dokinchan snatches the girl into a sack and decides to ruin her sandwiches by adding a lot of spices and disguise herself as the sandwich girl.

A man made of building blocks who can transform his body into anything by using the power of the heart-marked block inside his body. He likes to deliver building blocks for children to play.

In his debut story, he was delivering wooden blocks when he stumbled a giant blocking his way, but it turns out to be a giant inflatable created by Baikinman. Baikinman tries to take his cargo, thinking it was chocolate until he broke his teeth and buries Tsumikiman with the blocks. Anpanman finds him and helps put his truck back up and get him out of the buried blocks. Tsumikiman tells the Bakery that he wants to build a park with his building blocks, which they decided to help him out. Baikinman decides to ruin the fun by destroying Tsumikiman's castle and he gets mad that he transforms into a train to chase after him, but Baikinman knocks him out that he caught Tsumikiman's heart. Tsumikiman begs him to return it back, but Baikinman had other ideas by kidnapping him and painting his heart with black paint and turn Tsumikiman into a mindless weapon to destroy Anpanman. Just as Baikinman is about to kill Anpanman after Tsumikiman ran him over as a tank, Tsumikiman came back to life after his heart was washed away of the black paint and traps Baikinman so Anpanman can punch him out. Tsumikiman was able to make his park and the children enjoyed it. Though Dokinchan wasn't happy as her lover Shoukpanman hasn't shown up as expected.

** DamselOutOfDistress: However, she'll tend to scold him whenever he does something bad.

* ICantDance: At the beginning of one episode, she wanted to dance a tango, but she's not really good at it. Naganegiman eventually helped her out.

* ForceFeeding: Bakinman tried to force Usako by eating the spaghetti with the poison mushrooms.

He first encountered Anpanman as he saw paint marks all over his house thanks to Rakugaki Kozo and blames him for it, though Anpanman tells him that he only spotted the mess and apologized for his outburst. Uncle bull later lost his temper again when Baikinman bumped into him after stealing Rakugaki Kozo's paintbrush as he was trying to repaint his house. After Baikinman left, Uncle Bull later scolded at Rakugaki Kozo for what he's done and forgives the kid for his actions.

* BullyBulldog: He's a bulldog, but Uncle Bull is not a bully. Rather he gets short tempered as times.

She first met Melonpanna and Cheese when both she and Usako were picking flowers at a field. Cheese fell in love with her at sight after finding her sleeping in the meadow of flowers and decided to hang out. However, this didn't last long as Baikinman captured their owners as he was trying to steal all the flowers at the meadow for Dokinchan. The two dogs decided to go help rescue their owners, but Cheese tells the poodle to get Anpanman while he goes out to rescue the two from Baikinman's net. This didn't work as Baikinman saw Cheese dangling from the net and fell into the waterfall. After Anpanman rescued the girls, Rare Cheese goes out in the water to rescue Cheese.

* TreasureMap: One episode focus on them trying to find treasure after they found a map. However, this leads them to Tahara-kun and Rice-chan's rice fields.

* AlwaysAChildToParent: Tendonman is a fully grown adult that lives on his own, yet his mother still treats him like a child.

* OutOfFocus: While a major player in the group, Katsudonman is the only one out of the three to hardly any major episodes to himself. Not counting his debut story, Katsudonman only has about at least 10 episodes that focus on him, some of which are shared with his brother Tamagodonman.

A farmer who lives close by the hillsides of Ochazuke Mountain. He's usually a mentor to Baikinman whenever he comes by.

* EdibleThemeNaming: Pudding-chan is based on Japanese pudding "purin" and eclairs are chocolate coated pastries filled with cream.
* GenkiGirl: Both of the girls very energetic, though Pudding has the most energy.

A man made out of donuts who runs a donut stands nearby the beach. He is also the father to Baby Donuts, whom he takes special care of.

* MistakenIdentity: In one episode, Bakinman disguises himself as Syrup-chan to steal the pancakes.

In her debut story, she was supposed to visit Uncle Jam, but took a detour after seeing a butterfly in a meadow of flowers and fell asleep. Because it was taking a long time, Anpanman and Melonpanna decided to see where she had gotten off to and helped her lead the way to the bakery after they found her in the meadow. Waffle-chan was able to make waffles for the children and bakery crew but was distracted after finding Baikinman's UFO hidden in the bushes as the alien wanted to try out her waffles. Baikinman had to chase after her once he saw his UFO was flying and they crashed and landed at his lair. He scolds her for what happened and cries, but Dokinchan was able to calm her down. Dokinchan decides to play with her and the two along with Baikinman decided to make waffles together. After Baikinman and Dokinchan saw Waffle-chan was sleeping, they decided to secretly send her back to the bakery as Anpanman was trying to find her.

* VagueAge: It's never stated how old Waffle-chan is, but due to how she gets easily distracted and her getting emotional, it's likely she's a child.

* SimilarSquad: Like how Frappe-chan and Ice Candy Man represent both Anpanman and Currypanman, Ice Cream Cone is the Shoukpanman of the trio. He is very soft-spoken and very flamboyant contrast to Ice Candy's hot-headedness and they would clash heads with each other. Ice Cream Cone originally rode on a bike that serves ice cream before upgrading it to a truck, similar to how Shoukpanman upgraded his truck later on in the show. Ironically, both Ice Cream Cone Man and Shoukpanman clashed with each other when they do meet up later on the show, though they make amends at the end.

An elderly man who specializes in making cotton candy (candy floss) and giving it to others either by himself or with other venders in festivals.

When Batako was sick, she tells Anpanman to get some cotton cand from Watame Jisan as it can help make her throat feel a bit better. But when Anpanman was in town, he sees a long line of customers getting cotton candy and was worried he won't get any as Watame Jisan only comes once a year. Making things worse as Baikinman was pretending to be a rich person so he can be the first to get Watame Jisan's treat, only for the villian to dissapear with the old man out of sight as he used his magic can to put him to sleep. Dokinchan sees that Anpanman is following them after the pair vanished with Watame Jisan, so Baikinman uses the magic cane again to make cotton candy for her and created cotton candy copies of Baikinman to stop the hero. He disgiuses himself as one of the cotton candy copies to use his cane to stop Anpanman again. Dokinchan is happy and wants Watame Jisan to make some cotton candy, but he was stillunder hyponiois and wakes him up demands him to make her some. As he found out what happened to Anpanman, Watame Jisan creates a giant cotton candy copy of the hero and was able to stop Baikinman just before he shocks Anpanman. Baikinman was defeated as he accidently shocks himself with the cane and puts himself into hyposnis, and Anpanman was able to give Batako cotton candy with the large Anpanman cotton candy copy given by Watame Jisan.

A star shape-headed woman who gives out hard candy that resembles stars.

In her debut story, she shows up to town and gives out her konpeitos to the children and tells them that they're pieces of a shooting star and you can make a wish on them if you eat one. Everone overhears this, including Baikinman and Dokinchan and swiped her whole basket of candies as they want to make wishes for thmselves. Anpanman, Shoukpanman and the bakery decided to help Konpeito-san make a new batch of her candies. But she is worried that her lies that her star bit candies can actually grant wishes would get back at her, which they did as Dokinchan yells at Baikinman that the candies only gave her toothaches instead of her wishes being granted. Baikinman kidnaps Konpeito-san when he sees her by the bakery and both villians confroted her on giving the star bit that can grant Dokinchan's wish. However, Anpanman and Shoukpanman were able to rescue her by stopping Baikinman, and somewhat granting Dokinchan's wish as she gets surprised by Shoukpanman showing up behind her. Later that day, Konpeito-san amdits to Uncle Jam that her candies aren't really star bits. But he makes her feel better about the time Anpanman was born out of shooting stars.

* EdibleThemeNaming: Konpeitos are Japanese sugar candies that resembles stars that originated by Portuguese traders in the 16th century.
* LongBusTrip: After her debut story, Konpeito-san vanished for almost 5 years until she became a major character in one of the "Happy Birthday" home video specials made between 1995 to 1996. She made a cameo a few months later in episode 392a "Ame Trio and the Summer Festival", but vanish for another 8 years as Konpeito-san was in another cameo at the end of the 2004 movie short. Her last appearance was in episode 899a "Baikinman and Hatena Tower" (2007) as she's one of the few flying out of the tower alongside the redeemed Princess Hatena and Nazabo, and hasn't appeared since.

In the anime, Ankora was hungry and started his day in a bad mood after bumping inside of the cave he was sleeping in. The giant met Baikinman after he saw the sweets on the villain's table and later encountered Batako, Uncle Jam, and Cheese as the trio were picking strawberries. He ate Batako's basket and ate almost everything except for the dinnerware and currypan and got his foot injured with one of the forks. Uncle Jam helped the giant out from pulling the fork out of his foot and left the trio alone, but Baikinman decides to cause trouble for Anpanman by giving out anpans to Ankora and told him Anpanman and use him as a weapon to destroy the bakery. Because Ankora likes the filling inside Anpanman's head, Uncle Jam decided to change it to curry to chase the giant away and foil Baikinman's plan.

* AffablyEvil: When Baikinman uses him for destroying things, he's completely nice about it.

* AmbiguousSituation: Because the movie and television continuities are messy, there are some unknown details about whether or not he is the Sunaotoko that was attacking the main characters in the 1997 movie. Despite being voiced by the same actor, the Sunaotoko in the film is much eviler due to him trying to attack the main characters and doesn't have any remorse for his actions. The only clue is that Sunaotoko lacks eyebrows. The 2018 movie displays that there are more creatures that look like Sunaotoko, making it imply that both the Sunaotoko who originated from the 1989 movie and from the 1997 movie are different characters.

A mud giant who lives in the depth of the jungle. He's usually seen at Bee Tamagawa.

In his debut story, he crash lands near Uncle Jam's bakery, causing some of the citizens to wake up on what was going on. Anpanman decides to investigate the crash and meets with the alien robot and reveals that he's non-hostile and friendly as he gives out tin toys to the kids. Tin Kid later tells Uncle Jam about his ship and says he'll help get it repaired. While he repairs Tin Kid's ship, Anpanman and the kids show him around the town. Baikinman finds out about the robot and decides to cause trouble by putting a mind control device inside his body to be evil and defeat Anpanman. But this was thrwated as the children wanted to give something back to Tin Kid, which causes Baikinman's mind control device to override his mind and after the device was knocked out, reprogrammed himself back to his normal state after inserting the gifts inside himself. Tin Kid was able to hold off Baikinman until Anpanman was able to get his new head and defeat Baikinman off.

* AscendedExtra: After his debut story, Tin Kid reppeared 8 months later and became a reccuring character since then.

* BreakoutCharacter: Tin Kid became a popular character at the start of the 2010s that he starred in 11 episodes in that decade as well as a main star in the 2013 Christmas special and was added to the show's eleventh opening. He was even the main star for the 2023 DVD "Anpanman and His Robot Friends" as had three episodes in it.

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: The only character Tin Kid hasn't interacted as of 2022 is Kokin-chan.
* GratuitousEnglish: He often say some English words, such as "Yes", Happy", and "Okay!"

He met Baikinman and Dokinchan when the duo wanted to go inside his mansion one night after their UFOs were damanged and let them inside. Though he thought it would be fun to take the form of Baikinman, and chased him alongside Dokinchan until they crashed into a wall. Sokkuri Obake introduces himself to Baikinman and shows off on what can can do, which Baikinman decided to use him as a double to cause mischief and tricks him into doing his bidding by stealing candy from Usako and destroying the chidren's sandcastles. But Sokkuri Obake didn't like Baikinman's methods of bullying and tries to make up for his actions, which caused Baikinman to be upset that the ghost was undoing his work. Baikinman decides to trick Sokkuri Obake into showing up at the Bakery as himself to cuase trouble. But while Anpanman and the Bakery crew were alarmed to see Baikinman inside, Sokkuri Obake (as Baikinman) is very happy to meet Anpanman and had some of their bread. The real Baikinman is angry at Sokkuri Obake and decides to cause destruction athe park. Sokkuri Obake tries to stop from his actions, but he was blown away by Baikinman and sprays muddy water onto Anpanman. The ghost brings Anpanman to the Bakery and told them what was going on and what Baikinman is doing. Sokkuri Obake decides to stop Baikinman by pretending to be Dokinchan and sabotaging his mecha and causing it to grab him before it explodes Baikinman back to his mansion, where he gets chased by the real Dokinchan as she thinks he's a ghost. The bakery crew were happy to meet Sokkuri Obake and hopes to meet him again soon and the ghost says his goodbyes to them.

* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: They come in all colours of the rainbow.

A small ghost who lives in a dark mansion. He wants to be the frightning ghost, but he is very cowardly. However, he's very friendly towards others.

In his debut story, Bikubiku encountered Creampanda and Cheese when the pair was trying to goods, only to get scared by another ghost (who was just Baikinman in diguise). Bikubiku tells Creampanda that it wasn't him that scared them, but the superhero decides to investigate the forest on who scared them. After finding out that the ghost of Baikinman, the three were chased by him until Bikubiku decides to pluck up courage and scare Baikinman off. Although he didn't last being brave to scare Baikinman, Anpanman was able to stop the villian.

* BreakoutCharacter: After his debut story at the tale end of the cel animated era, Bikubiku came back two years later and had over 30 episodes focusing on him.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: In hhis debut story, we never see Bikubiku living in a mansion compare to his later episodes.

* HauntedHouse: Bikubiku-chan lives in a empty haunted house after his debut story.
* LostInTranslation: His name would sometimes translate to ''Jumpy-chan'', though this coul relate to him being afraid.

* CanonImmigrant: Like most of the other characters, Yanase wrote a book adaption of the episode featuring the character. However, the ghost was originally written in 1999 and didn't appear in the show until 2005 as part of the 800th episode celebration.
* {{Foil}}: To Frankenrobo-kun. They're both creations by Baikinman that are very oblivious and very happy. However, unlike the former where Baikinman wanted to use him to defeat Anpanman, but never went through as he was too friendly, the Rainbow Ghost was created by accident and Baikinman had no trouble into fooling the ghost into causing trouble.

A girl lipstick who likes to give everyone a colorful makeup regardless what gender they are. She travels around with her bag of cosmetics.

She first met Anpanman when she was walking happily, though this changed when she saw Batako was covered in dirt after working out and gives her a huge makeover, much to Batako's confusion. Riiplechan later gave everyone in town a similar makeover and despite the mixed reception with the folks, she became famous which caused attention to both Baikinman and Dokinchan. Baikinman decides to cause trouble by pretending to be her so he can make everyone look worse than what Ripplechan offered, which caused awareness to Anpanman. Though this didn't last as he gives Dokinchan a bad makeover, which causes her to chase the diguised Baikinman until she found out what happened. Anpanman tries to save Ripplechan, but he gets stomped by Baikinman and she helps out by using her magical makeup to send an alarm to the bakery crew and tries to distract Baikinman by giving his mecha a makeover, but she gets captured at the end. Though she is saved by both Anpanman and Dokinchan and Baikinman was punched. Anpanman was puzzled where both Ripplechan and Dokinchan went, but it was later revealed that Ripplechan gave Dokinchan a makeover as both a thank you gift for saving her and also to makeup what Baikiman did to her.

* AdvertisedExtra: Ripplechan was added on the offical website sometime in the 2010s, but she only appeared in one episode and a small cameo in one of the film shorts in the early 2000s.
* EverythingsBetterWithRainbows: Ripplechan wears a rainbow skirt and her magical cosemetics are also covered in rainbows.
* TheFashionista: Ripplechan likes to give people a makeover with her cosemetics, even if it does go a bit overboard.
* UncannyValleyMakeup: One of Ripplechan's main flaws is that she goes a bit overboard on the makeup she gives to others, giving some ofthe people a bit confusion.

A girl who lives on Hibiscus Island who is best known for growing and brewing hibiscus tea for anyone on the island. When she's not working, Hibischan likes to windsurf along the ocean waves.

She already met Anpanman, Melonpanna and the bakery crew prior to her debut, but she didn't met Creampanda when the crew decided to visit her. Hibischan greeted them with her tea and windsurfing with Creampanda, but their fun was interruppted by Baikinman and Dokinchan as they wanted to take over Hibiscus Island for their vacation. Because Anpanman was tossed out into the ocean and the bakery crew were trapped by the duo, Hibischan was the only one that can help save them. So when the villians were distracted, she got into their crab mech and was able to free Melonpanna, Creampanda and the crew from the tree and Creampanda went out to sea to find Anpanman. Anpanman stopped Baikinman and Dokinchan and the heroes were able to enjoy their stay on the island.

* AdvertisedExtra: She's on the offical website sometime in the late 2010s, but she only appeared in three episodes.

In his debut episode, both he and Tactman were lost in the fog and Piano-man got himself stuck on an edge of a cliff. Tactman tried to rescue him, but the cliff was unstable and they fell out unconscious. Baikinman found the piano dormant after Anpanman found Tactman laying on the ground, and decided to play around with it as Dokinchan wanted to keep the piano, but they found out the piano was alive. Because of the fog, Piano-man had trouble with his one key note as it doesn't play the sound. Dokinchan wasn't impressed with this and Baikinman decided to torture the piano to make him work properly, but Anpanman stopped them after trying to find the missing piano Tactman was trying to reunite.

* BurningWithAnger: After Baikinman demands he plays a music piece for Dokinchan, he refuses and starts burning red. Though this actually comes in handy when it evaporates the water that messed up his one keynote.

A violin-headed kid who is a master violinist. His plays his music very softly.

He first met Anpanman when he got himself lost in the woods and was hungry. Violin-kun then demostrates to Anpanman on what he does and thought the kid's music is very sweet. He invites Violin-kun to the bakery and decides to play music for them as well. But he wanted to perform to more people and decided to play his music publicly at the town. Baikinman and Dokinchan saw him performing and decided to kidnap him as they want him to perform music for them. So they took him at their summer house and Dokinchan told the violinist to play for them, which he does as he plays some dance music for the two, though Baikinman didn't want to dance with her. After Dokinchan leaves, Baikinman tells Violin-kun to play music for him as well, but this was stopped as Anpanman and Cheese found the kidnapped kid at the summer house. Violin-kun was able to distract Baikinman with his music and the villian decides to leave him alone. After that, Violin-kun decided to perform one last time for the bakery before leaving.

He met Anpanman as he lost his violin after his encounter with Baikinman. However they were able to find it after Batako and Cheese found it while picking flowers. The bakery crew were quite fond of Peter's music that it attracted Dokinchan's attention that she also loved the music as well. While Peter was sleeping at the bakery, Dokinchan decided to take him to Baikin Castle as she wanted to her his performance. But this was short lived as Baikinman tossed the fairy out after finding out who he was. Though Dokinchan was upset as she loved Peter's music and demands Baikinman to get him back. Anpanman was also trying to find Peter after he discovered the fairy was missing from the bakery, but he was attacked by Baikinman from his transforming ship and Peter had to distract Baikinman with his music until Cheese was able to give the hero a new head to stop Baikinman. Peter then parted ways with Anpanman

* LongBusTrip: While Peter appears a few times between his first and second major appearnces, they are mainly non-voiced cameos.
* MindControlMusic: Peter's music isn't exactly mind-controlling, though it can either make others be a bit drowzy or sad. This is benifitcal with Baikinman during a battle.

Prior to his introduction, Cellohiki was a master at playing the cello, but one day lost confidence to himself after a mishap with one of his music sheets flying off that he made himself a fool in front of others. He tells to Uncle Jam that he plans to retire from playing the cello and gives him it. The cello was resting at Uncle Jam's bakery and it wasn't until Melonpanna found it covered in dust at the garage and Uncle Jam told everyone about the former cellist and suggests that they should hold a concert together to help get his confidence back. Baikinman thinks it's a guitar as Dokinchan was looking for one and steals it under their noses. Meanwhile, the cellist was trying to get back inti playing the cello, but he couldn't as the makeshift one he made from twigs wasn't as good as his old one. But after Baikinman's UFO malfunctioned, Cellohiki got his cello back and was able to get his confidence back at playing the cello and played music for Baikinman as resued him from the wreckage. Baikinman wanted to leave after waking up, but Cellohiki's music caught the villian in a hypnotic way that he ended up went back to sleep. As a thank you for returning his cello, the cellist offered food to Baikinman and music lessons on playing the instrument, though it didn't go well as Baikinman wasn't paying attention to what Cellohiki was saying and tells him to try again. Anpanman found Cellohiki as he heard the cellist's music and Cellohiki was about to tell the hero who gave it back to him, but Baikinman tells him not to and just says he forgot who the returnee was. Anpanman tells Cellohiki about having a concert, which the cellist agrees that he would play with the cello returnee. After Cellohiki told Baikinman about why he quit a long time ago, the villian decided to give the cello lessons another go for the concert, though in disguise. The concert was a sucess and Cellohiki has the passion to play the cello and gives thanks to both Uncle Jam and Baikinman.

** Unlike his later interactions when teaching to play the cello, Cellohiki was very stern towards Baikinman when he didn't take the lessos seriously. Though it's likely due to what happened to him that caused him to be grouchy.
* ElegantClassicalMusician: Cellohiki is a cellist that plays classical music.

* NonHumanHead: Cellohiki has a cello for a head, which he can use itself when he doesn't have a cello on hand. What's odd is that Cellohiki himself never thought on trying this when he wanted to get back into playing the istrument, though it's likely he didn't want to risk himself at he time as he didn't have his confidence back.
* OutOfFocus: Cellohiki was reduced to silent cameos between 2012 to 2015 as his original actor passed away and it wasn't until he was recasted.

He first met Anpanman as the hero was trying to stop Baikinman from attacking Miss Mimi and the children as they were picking flowers, and Accordionman stopped the villian as his music sombered the villian to kick Baikinman away. Anpanman told the bakery crew about the musican and Accordionman paid a visit to play his music to them. Just as Accordionman was playing music for everyone at the town, Baikinman kidnaps him for what happened eariler and tries to torture the musician by streching the bellows on his face, but Dokinchan was woken up by this and wanted to hear his music. She loves Accordionman's music that she wants to dance to it and drags Baikinman to it, much to his annoyance that he tries to attack him. Anpanman tries to rescue the musician, but Baikinman's attacks were very strong that he was trapped. Accordionman decides to help out by distracting Baikinman with his accordian music, though the villian uses earmuffs to block out the music which causes him to ignore Anpanman's warning that a boulder is about to hit him. Regardless, Anpanman punches Baikinman out and Accordionman plays music for everyone at the bakery.

* ReusedCharacterDesign: His body is Book-Sensei's, but with different shade of blue for the outfit and shoes that match the color of his handles.

Anpanman and the bakery crew heard about the fairy as Kamome-san told them about the other night he flew by Tongari Island and heard some beautiful music. He decided to investigate where the music is coming from and met the fairy as she was playing in front of other sea creatures and thought her music was wonderful. Baikinman and Dokinchan also caught about the musical fairy as they were lurking at the ocean and Dokinchan thought Luna's instrument was wonderful and wanted it for herself. Baikinman decides to kidnap Luna and Anpanman tries to chase after them, but was caught in a trap planted by the villians. Dokinchan tries to play the lyre, but it plays a horrible sound and thought the instrument was broken. Luna warns them that it can only be played in the water, but the villians ignore her and decided to try destroying it. But not before Anpanman freed himself and stopped the duo from causing anymore trouble. Luna was able to play her music once more and Anpanman, the bakery crew and all the sea creatures enjoyed it.

In his debut story, he was mimmicking as a regular pillow in the woods and caused Baikinman to fall asleep with his sleeping powers. Baikinman saw the pillow and fell asleep on it and Makura Kozo was able to see the villian's dream to defeat Anpanman. After revealing himself to Baikinman, Makura Kozo decides to team up with him to stop Anpanman. Later that day Baikinman pretends to be a delivery man and give Anpanman a package claiming it's from someone that saved him the other day and was a gift for him, said gift turns out to be Makura Kozo. After finding out what was Anpanman's nightmare, Makura lets Baikinman inside Anpanman's dream so he can defeat the hero. Batako and Uncle Jam found out that Anpanman's head was being eaten thanks to Baikinman's miniature selves eating it, so they hurried and made extra heads until Baikinman was full and Anpanman was able to figure out that the pillow was the cause of his problems. Both Makura Kozo and Baikinman ran off afterwards.

In her debut story, she sees a reflection of the sun in the river after admiring it and orders her coachman Avocado Jiya to fetch. Just as Avocado Jiya was telling his majesty that he can't get the sun, Baikinman shows up and uses his bucket with the sun relection to pour all over Duiran. The princess scolds at Baikinman for his actions, but he doesn't care and starts to attack her, though Anpanman was there to save her from Baikinman's actions. Durian admires Anpanman and wants him to be his knight and offers the bakery crew her delicious fruit bowl, but he was reluctant as he hasto patrol for others. So Durian goes on a wild chase to find him. Baikinman overhears this and decides to cause trouble for the two by giving trouble for the townspeople and call out Anpanman's name. This kept going until both Baikinman and Durian were tired out, though Anpanman gives the princess a piece of his head seeing as she was pooped out. Though this doesn't last as Baikinman shows up to attack the two. The kids wer able to distract Baikinman as Anpanman tells her to go get help. She was able to deliver Anpanman's new head and was able to stop Baikinman by giving her a spikey durian for Anpanman to deliver the final punch. She told Anpanman at the end that she feels much better after understanding Anpanman's courage.

In her debut story, Poppo-chan was on her way to meet Uncle Jam, but when Baikinman spotted her wandering at the forest, Dokin-chan thought that she looks cute and wanted Baikinman to get the small steam engine to play with. Though Baikinman had troubles catching her as she thought they were playing a game. Anpanman was able to stop him and showed the baby engine where Uncle Jam is. The kids and Cheese were happy to see her and play games with her, but that changed once Baikinman was trying to attack them. Poppo-chan was able to stall Baikinman off after she woke up and helped save the day once Anpanman got his new head to stop Baikinman. She contuined playing with the children as she pulled with carriges behind her, alongside Baikinman and Dokinchan in disguises.

* BreakoutCharacter: Much like SL-Man, Poppo-chan started to appear after her intinal story due to both Japan's love of trains (especially steam locomotives) and the fact that baby characters are popular in the series,

* SirNotAppearingInThisTrailer: Despite appearing a few times after her intinal appearance in the show, Poppo-chan never appeared in the show's ninth and tenth openings. Compare to Kokin-chan, who despite only appeared in episode prior to the show's revamp of the ninth opening, was promoted as a billing character in the show. Poppo-chan would later appear in the first episode's title card once the show trasitioned to widescreen and would be seen on the show's eleventh opening.
