Beg The Dog / Manga-Waido

Go To

In episodes where the MC has to deal with abusive spouses or parents, there'll be a point where the abusers will end up hitting rock bottom by backing themselves into a disadvantageous situation from which only the MC can save them, especially if they become successful. Understandably, the MC will reject their pleas and go through with banishing their abusers. Therefore, this warrants Manga-Waido a Beg the Dog subpage.

  • "My own foster family hated me": Fifteen years after Ami left her uncles' house, the couple shows up outside Ami's workplace in shabby clothes and begs her for money because Yuto, being a spoiled brat, blew all the inheritance money after the grandmother's passing. • "The dark side of entertainment producers…": After Yusuke exposed his wife Kumiko's affair with a shady entertainment producer being the real reason her daughter Mai could even make it as a model and then leaves after forcing her to sign the divorce papers, Mai tried to go with Yusuke and begged him to take her in despite being verbally abusive like her mother earlier on. Understandably, Yusuke refuses and leaves her with Kumiko.
  • "The girl at school kept screwing up and then here's what happened next...": A haggard, worn-out Mari begged the hotel she tried to ruin moments earlier for firing her, to rehire her after her applications to work at any companies were rejected following her politician uncle's defeat at the elections. Understandably, the employees have none of her bullcrap and flat-out reject her.
  • "He thought that he was the one winning but he was so wrong": Six months after Minamida stole Takahisa's wife, Honoka, moments after their wedding to spite him, he comes back to beg Takahisa to take her back because his new wife turned out to be a gambling-addicted Gold Digger with a penchant for BDSM and he couldn't divorce her because his parents would cut ties with him if he did. A few years later, after Masaki's company went under and he disappeared, Keichi's parents call him and beg him for money due to not having much money left. However, he refuses to give them any due to their unfair treatment of him when he was growing up and tells them to never call him again.
