Morpho Knight is consistently referred to as "it" in-game and in supplementary materials.

* The secret boss, Morpho Knight is not only awesome in its design, but because of the bait and switch near the beginning of the fight. Morpho Knight itself is an enormous Easter egg for long time Kirby fans if they recognize his design. For those who don’t recognize him, it’s based off a scrapped version of Meta Knight from the cancelled Kirby GCN game. Its epithet is the “reborn butterfly.” Fridge Brilliance at its finest. Extra Awesome points when facing it as the one of the Dream Friends, his theme changes to a remix of a theme from the game they originate from (The Animal Friends, Marx, and Gooey have remixes of "Real Dark Matter", "Meddlesome Marx" and "VS Dark Matter" respectively, while Daroach has a remix of the "Squeak Squad Theme", Dark Meta Knight has a mashup of Amazing Mirror[='=]s boss theme and "Last Boss / 2nd Form", Adeleine & Ribbon have a medley of "02 Battle", "Miracle Matter" and "Ripple Star: Stage Select", Magolor has a medley of various music from Return to Dream Land, Taranza has a medley of "Sullied Grace", "The World to Win" and "Fatal Blooms in Moonlight" and Susie has a medley of "Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection" and "Vs. Star Dream".

Minor fixes, including Morpho Knight being referred to as "it" officially and using official music names when those pop up.

* Videogame/KirbysBlowoutBlast (the e-Shop expansion of Kirby 3D Rumble) has Kirby fighting Dedede on a 3D plane as the FinalBoss. After he's defeated, he harnesses the power of the Sparkling Stars and then turns gigantic, with devastating attacks. And in the Secret Path, you're treated to a Giant Masked Dedede, and this time his mask gives him extra protection, forcing Kirby (and you) to step up the game to beat him.

* Gorimondo may just be the first boss with the difficulty to match, but being the first boss in Kirby's biggest adventure yet and having a whole new axis to work with, as well the sheer size difference between him and Kirby makes him a great send-off to Natural Plains. Doubly so for his Phantom counterpart, which increases his difficulty and also gives him a funky new color scheme.
* Tropic Woods has the standard Whispy boss fare, dropping apples... er, cocounts at you and spitting air at you, with the only notable thing being his humongous size. However, the second phase throws in a couple curveballs, such as massive gusts of wind, roots that will home in on Kirby ready to skewer him, and even a shield that will prevent all attacks unless you can get around it. Not as awe-inspiring, but still a huge step up from the regular Whispy fights. His Phantom form ups the ante, with a palette not too different from the vaporwave aesthetic, and turning his shield attack into a maze.
* Clawroline doesn't have the size advantage the previous bosses had, but she's no less of a slouch when it comes to her fight. She's constantly on the move, ready to swipe at Kirby and turn him into ribbons. Her second phase has her climbing on the pillars of the arena and showering Kirby with knives, as well as pouncing on him. All of this makes the fight look like a circus act (fitting, considering the arena and current area), with all the fun to match. Her Phantom counterpart adds cloning into the mix as well, with 3 of her clones assisting in the second phase pounce attack, and she now fires WAY more knives.
* King Dedede, per the series tradition, pulls his weight in Kirby's first 3D outing. Not even holding back the second he sees you, he sends two Primal Awoofys to distract you while he pelts you with his signature hammer attacks. Two-thirds of the way in, his hammer falls... yet that doesn't stop him, as he grabs A PILLAR FROM THE BACKGROUND to try and smash Kirby with it. His attacks stay mostly the same, but the range is vastly increased, and he gains a smash that causes ice to form in the ground. His Phantom form might just make him faster and hit harder for the most part, but he begins the battle with SIX Primal Awoofys at your tail, and he utilizes Gordos in ways to mix up his attacks.

Minor fix.

* Galacta Knight returns as an OptionalBoss, being fought in the True Arena as the third to last opponent. Unless you saw his picture in the end of the Extra Mode Credits, this fight is only foreshadowed by easily missed details in the appearances of Stone Kirby and Metal General. The fight itself is... mediocre at best, until, like many bosses in the game before him, he TurnRed. His theme music kicks in and he starts wiping the floor with you with upgraded versions of his previous attacks and throwing out new attacks.

Describing a boss fight as "pretty good" in this namespace is part Word Cruft, part Damned By Faint Praise.

* Metal General is pretty good. He fights like Meta Knight, but uses his own, mechanical attacks, as well, including generating giant rockets that he uses to ram into you. In Extra Mode, after beating the Metal General EX, he summons HR-D3, the robot from the Kirby Quest minigame in Mass Attack, which he redesigned in his image. That's right; he managed to take Dedede's own Humongous Mecha. And, considering the first form, it's highly likely it was designed after Kirby 64[='=]s HR-H.

Don't shout the examples. And "essentially" in this context is Word Cruft of the "bogus qualifier" variety.

* Practically everything about the Magolor Soul fight in Deluxe's True Arena. If you thought that this was just going to be the same fight in Extra Mode, then you're dead wrong. From the music, the AmazingTechnicolorBattlefield, to the attacks themselves, you'll see just how much power this EmptyShell can throw at you. This even includes a brand new second phase which just sees him bombard you with everything he has. This essentially turns this simple re-skin of Magolor's OneWingedAngel form into one hell of a TrueFinalBoss that could even send Fecto Elfilis a run for their money.

* Practically everything about the Magolor Soul fight in Deluxe's True Arena. From the moment the fight begins, he makes it very clear that he isn't toying around, because he immediately launches two lasers at Kirby when he least expects it. Not only that, but all of his attacks are faster and deadlier (i.e. he now creates two black holes), and he'll sometimes even mix them together. What really cements him as this is the second phase; after being beaten back, he surges with more power than ever. And clearly, the crown is now in full control, as he not only loses his two main eyes and starts flashing purple, but his attacks become even deadlier. Don't believe us? Then see his Super Ability attacks: he not only has access to every one of them, but also stronger versions of the new Sand and Mecha abilities! All in one!

* King Dedede is a very awesome boss fight due to having a whopping four phases, and the fact that he suddenly becomes muscular, which does a great job of changing up the pace of the fight. The fact that it's even a reference to the Anime/KirbyRightBackAtYa anime makes it even better.

It's a BattleAmongstTheFlames, and the Master Crown uses a series of a bunch of attacks used by other Kirby villains; it uses Marx's seeds attack, a variation of Soul of Sectonia's vine attack and create lasers from its eye just like HR-D3. It can even create Gem Apple bombs that explode after a few seconds. It gets even cooler after it TurnsRed, because it immediately begins by unleashing a BeamSpam attack on Magolor that lasts longer than most attacks and is very cool to watch. That's not even to mention the attack near the end where it slams its entire body on the stage to smash Magolor into the ground. It's scary and awesome all at once.

Actual name. Oh, and technically speaking, Fecto Forgo isn't treated as phase 1 of the Fecto Elfilis battle — it's more of its own separate thing leading up to the final battle.

* Gorimondo may just be the first boss with the difficulty to match, but being the first boss in Kirby's biggest adventure yet and having a whole new axis to work with, as well the sheer size difference between him and Kirby makes him a great send-off to Natura Plains. Doubly so for his Phantom counterpart, which increases his difficulty and also gives him a funky new color scheme.

* King Dedede, per the series tradition, pulls his weight in Kirby's first 3D outing. Not even holding back the second he sees you, he sends two Awoofys to distract you while he pelts you with his signature hammer attacks.

* Upon defeating Forgo Leon, Fecto Forgo emerges and tries to have one last stand with Kirby in the form of Soul Forgo. At least that's the plan... until a certain butterfly appears and absorbs Forgo's power. Yup, Morpho Knight is back, and this time, it doesn't even need an EX form to rip Kirby a new one. It maintains the traditional sword and fire attacks, only amplified, even more so than its Star Allies incarnation. It takes the former biggest threat, Forgo, and uses them as an attack in the form of a slowly homing soul. Upon reaching its second phase, it pushes all of its attacks to their limit, turning the arena into a blazing inferno. And remember, there aren't any Dream Friends to help you out here; you're flying solo this time, and Morpho Knight won't hold back.

** Beginning with the first phase, Fecto Forgo is absolutely terrifying, keeping you on the edge of your seat as this hideous slime monster tries to kill you via throwing slime globs at you, crushing you, and biting you. It may be a simple and easy boss battle, but the entire sequence feels not unlike a horror movie, and it's definitely one of the most frightening moments in recent Kirby memory.

* Kirby's Dream Collection gives us Smash Combat Chamber EX, a Boss Rush with every miniboss from Return to Dream Land and Whispy Woods EX. Kirby fights them with the Smash Ability, which is basically his VideoGame/SuperSmashBros moveset, making a return from Kirby And The Amazing Mirror. And the songs that can play include the True Arena boss theme from Kirby Super Star Ultra and Miracle Matter's boss theme from Kirby 64. Alone, they're great. Together, it's amazing.
