** Even more awesome is that Ted manages to become friends with the jocks by being his geeky self. Robert genuinely befriends him after bonding with a VR game session and his group are later asking him about tips on sword fighting.

* Considering that Mr. O'Neill is kind of a ditzy teacher, in "Write Where It Hurts" he manages to assign Daria homework that challenges her creativity. Sure, Daria struggled hard with writer's block but considering that the education level in Lawndale High leaves a lot to be desired and Mr. O'Neill is used to giving very generic lectures, here he shows a genuine interest in Daria's learning as an individual and how much he cares to do his job as a teacher.
** Helen realizes that she can't be on the same page as Daria, and not only apologizes to her but manages to give her honest and useful advice on how to do her assignment, which produces a heartful story that moves her to tears.

* When Quinn finally meets a boy who isn't drawn in by her charms, and calls her out on how boring she is when all she can focus on is her looks, encouraging her to actually take her studies seriously for once. It leads to some small measure of Character Development for her.

* RealLife example: One member of the ''Daria'' fandom had become ill and was in a nursing facility, where he didn't have any form of computer access. [[BigDamnHeroes Two members of the fandom]] got together -- from different parts of the country, no less -- and not only got him an Internet-capable laptop, but also a cell phone so he could keep in contact with his fellow fans, and took a cross-country trip to get it to him and visit.
* Another meta one for Wendy Hoopes in the {{Musical Episode}} "Daria!", where she managed to give great singing performances as all three of her characters. Including [[SoloDuet singing a duet with herself!]]

* In the {{Flashback}} to 1969 from "That Was Then, This Is Dumb", Helen is discussing with Willow about how the so-called "enlightened dudes" oppressed women just like society was putting down the movement(which was actually TruthInTelevision in some cases). Helen angrily shouts loud enough for Jake, who's in the other room with Coyote, to hear:

* During "Too Cute," Quinn shamelessly tries to raise money for her potential plastic surgery by telling Andrea it's about "making a statement on solidarity." Andrea's so disgusted by Quinn trying to exploit feminism to get money for cosmetic surgery she bluntly replies "Aren't you just a little bit worried there might be a Hell?"

* Daria has Ms. Li completely humiliated for allowing Cloud and Romonica to exploit her classmates (including Quinn) at the end of "This Year's Model" by calling the head of a mercenary training school pretending to be Ms. Li and inviting him into Lawndale High to hold a week long seminar. This gets broadcast on news and puts Li in some hot water, and Daria never takes credit for it.
