* RealLife example: One member of the ''Daria'' fandom had become ill and was in a nursing facility, where he didn't have any form of computer access. [[BigDamnHeroes Two members of the fandom]] got together -- from different parts of the country, no less -- and not only got him an Internet-capable laptop, but also a cell phone so he could keep in contact with his fellow fans, and took a cross-country trip to get it to him and visit.
* Another meta one for Wendy Hoopes in the {{Musical Episode}} "Daria!", where she managed to give great singing performances as all three of her characters. Including [[SoloDuet singing a duet with herself!]]

* In the {{Flashback}} to 1969 from "That Was Then, This Is Dumb", Helen is discussing with Willow about how the so-called "enlightened dudes" oppressed women just like society was putting down the movement(which was actually TruthInTelevision in some cases). Helen angrily shouts loud enough for Jake, who's in the other room with Coyote, to hear:
