* On a meta level, Telltale deserve credit for creating their 'branchiest episode ever' - contrary to their reputation of rail-roading and irrelevant decisions, "Same Stitch" is effectively two episodes in one, with the story playing out in two utterly distinct ways depending on whether your John has become a villain or a vigilante. And that's just generally - depending on what path you get, the actions of Tiffany, Gordon, Selina, and Avesta are dependent on how you've treated them throughout the season. 'This game will be affected by the choices you make' indeed.

** [[HopeSpot What follows]] is both awesome and horrifying: Though it begins with Waller thanking John, the moment he decides the virus is too dangerous, Waller attempts to shoot him to retrieve the virus. What follows is something more arguably awesome than the villain ending, John snaps and delivers an epic WhatTheHellHero to the Agency ([[VillainHasAPoint which the player is hard-pressed to actually disagree with]]) and sets off a smoke grenade and activates the bombs around the area. Despite Waller's attempts at regaining control of the situation, John stabs her in the the gut, which is bound to be cathartic to players who were tired of her manipulating. The Joker does this in a spur of the moment of his own accord, not because he wanted to save Harley, but because he's angry at being used, and singlehandedly makes fools of the Agents, police, Harley, and even Bruce trying to stop him. The cherry on top of this ending is when The Joker declares he'll hunt down everyone in the agency and bring them to justice, and escapes with the virus. In a way, the Joker may be even more horrifying as a Hero, but either way, he's finally found his purpose.
