Aloha everyone! I'm currently playing Pokemon Moon!
We open up with Professor Kukui asking us our name. When I play Pokemon, I normally use my first name, that being Kyra. (Oh, and gender.)
And then, right afterwards, we see Lillie! Who's running away from Aether Foundation members for some reason, with something (Cosmog) in her bag. Then, as she's cornered...
WHOOSH! I think she activated a hyperreasonance. (From Tales of the Abyss)
And cue the title.
Three months later...
Rockruff is cute.
And here's our mom, who has a Meowth.
And there I am, sleeping on the bed. And then Meowth wakes me up.
As I meet my mom (In this game), she asks me this:
"So, Kyra... are you pumped to meet some Alolan Pokemon?"
I answer...
"Yeah, I am!"
I gave Kukui my worst Austrailian impression as a voice. Yes, I know he's probably supposed to have a Hawaiian accent, but I have no idea how to imitate that. And why is he calling me "Cousin"?
Apparently, me in game is from Kanto. Neat.
Also, Kukui was in Kanto at some point.
Kukui: "Time for you to meet the Island Kahuna and get yourself a Pokemon, yeah!"
While I knew about the Kahunas prior to playing the game, I'm going to choose the option that applies to me:
"Kahuna?"
I can spin!
I can wear a hat. Yay? (Too bad I'm going to remove it.)
Hey, the trainer has an animation for writing in their diary! Nice detail.
The first town is called "Iki".
Kukui:"So, Kyra! You're lovin' Alola already, yeah?"
Me: "...I guess."
OH MY GOD IKI TOWN'S MUSIC IS SO PRETTY AAAHHHH
Tapu Koko, eh? Strange name. It's not like I heard it before. And Melemele. I always thought that name was strange too.
How am I supposed to know what a Kahuna looks like, Kukui!?

There is a young girl: The one called Lillie. It seems she's going to the ruins of Tapu Koko.

"Get over here!" In-game me probably shouts.

And there she is, imitating Azura.
Lillie: "Ah.."
Kyra: "What's wrong?"
"Nebby?" That's a cute nickname.
Don't worry, Lillie, I'll help the little guy!
WOAH! Bridge, are you okay?
Again, bridge are you okay?
STOP BRIDGE

Kyra: "I ALMOST DIED. I ALMOST FREAKING DIED. FIRST DAY, AND I ALMOST DIE? What am I, Ultra-Bad-Luck?! Who are you?"
I got a sparkling stone.
Lillie: "Don't tell anyone about this... About seeing Nebby... It's... it's a secret, OK? Come on. Into the bag, Nebby."
Poor Cosmog.
Kyra: "I ALMOST DIED! FIRST DAY."
