The Hidden Leaf Village Part 2

Heading to the right side of the screen, we enter the entertainment section of the village. It also seems to be the residential district too, as multiple characters’ houses are found here. The first house directly above you as you enter the district is Kakashi’s house. You can tell by the pictures next to the bed, one of Team 7, and one of an older team with himself in it. There’s also a plant, an alarm clock, and a simple desk and chair with a bookshelf. The only item chest in the corner holds a Medical Pack, an item that heals the user’s stamina and chakra to full. Hold on to that for a while.

Go up from Kakashi’s house to enter the Nara’s house. Shikamaru is standing around in the foyer/dining room area, where two chests are hidden in a corner. One is the Silver Ticket (That goes in out valuables), and Strong Ninja Power Chinese Medicine Pills, which boosts your NIN by a large number. The small area above is just a kitchen area.

Exit, head to the right some more and then go up across the bridge (with an old man talking about his dead ninja son) to reach a park area. A couple of kids are playing with paper shuriken, and there are two items up here. The first is an Immobility Manual (for when you’re immobilized in battle), and an Explosive Kunai, used in battles to damage an enemy.

Going all the way down from the bridge and to the left brings you to a building with a poster for the third Naruto movie next to it. This is the movie theater, and it’s the place where you can use that ticket in Shikamaru’s house. There are also Gold and Premium Ticket items you can find later. Inside, there are posters for all three original Naruto movies, and a Make Out Paradise poster too. Talking to Genma on the far left door inside will let you see movies based on the ticket you give him. No, you don’t really see the movies, but the characters you send inside will have conversations and either gain or lose Morale based on the combination of people you put in with them (up to 4). Each movie has different conversations for each character combo. Make Out Paradise is showing on the door to the right, and Ebisu will only allow adult characters to go in. I’ll come back later when we have more characters and list some combos.

The small building to the right is …either Sasuke’s or Sakura’s, I honestly can’t tell. Probably Sasuke judging by the face down Team 7 picture on a bookshelf, but the bed covers are pink, so…

Cross over the small river to your right to reach another park and a hot springs area. A couple of ninja are talking about a group of mercenaries called the Mu who fought in the last war but were later eliminated by one of the countries for being too strong. Plot point? Go up into the park and you’ll see someone’s campsite, with a tent that says it belongs to Guy. His green suits are all on a clothesline, and said tent reeks of sweat from his training equipment if you examine it. In the hot springs (no, you can’t enter it), there’s a chest in the top left corner with 800 Ryo inside.

And now for the last part of the village! Go back to the entrance gate area with all the stores, and head up to the top of the screen between the Hyuga’s compound and the BBQ restaurant.

The small, blue roofed house in front of you belongs to a generic fat ninja. His apartment has a chest in it with the Naruto Card item inside. This is an item that boosts Morale if used on the correct person. To the immediate left is the very big hospital. Behind the fence gate is another chest with a General Manual inside, healing any status effect on every member of your team at once. Go inside and you’ll enter the lobby and ground floor. Behind the reception desk is an item chest with a second Medical Pack. Go down the left hallway and enter the rooms. Only the second one has an item, with a Blind Resistance: Rin NIN Tag inside. Another chest is at the end of the hallway containing the Cosmos item inside. This is also a Morale booster item. Go back to the lobby and go up to the second floor/roof. There’s a cat, a dog, and an old lady along with a chest between the large water containers. It has Special Chinese Medicine Pills. These heal all status effects for one person.

We’re skipping the Hokage Tower across from us and going farther up the street. A ninja talks about Summoning animals in battle, which is better explained later. Head left to see a kid blocking an item chest. He’ll move later, so we’ll ignore him and go to the end of the street to the Academy. In the Academy yard is an item chest with a Blindness Manual.

Inside, there are a few generic ninjas, Konohamaru, and Kiba. Kiba has nothing important to say, but Konohamaru is always here and he is who you give your Summoning Sheets (cheat codes) to in order to unlock special characters. Head to the back of the lower floor and you’ll see two doors. The left one is where Kumite Missions are done. There are three types of Kumite battles, Standard, Survival, and Limited. Standard is where you use whatever characters you have to fight different sets of characters, aiming for the lowest turn score. Survival pits you against waves and waves of enemies and boss fights until you die or Run. Limited lets you play out Anime scenario fights using a set character. For example, there is a mission where you play as Tenten (don’t worry, it’s based on the characters you raise yourself and how strong they are) and battle Temari, like the Chunin Exam matches. You get item prizes based on how well you do in each mode. Talk to Ibiki at the desk to pick a mission. Oh, and Kurenai is hanging out in here too. The door on the right is a useless room to you, because it’s just the mission reception room from the Anime/Manga. The item is in the corner and it’s 300 Ryo. Inoichi and the Third Hokage’s two old teammates are sitting behind the desk. Exit that room and head up the stairs to the right to get a Flash Bomb battle item. This has a chance to inflict blindness. The room next to you just tells you basic information on the game, but there is a Leaf Symbol save point and a chest here with Food Pills inside. Go up and around the second floor balcony to get another chest with a Poison Manual. Before going up the stair to the roof, head back down the left side to get a Smoke Bomb. On the roof are a couple of kids, Neji walking around, and an old man who will talk about the Hokage Mountain you can now see.

And… that’s pretty much it for the Leaf Village. Next time, we’ll finally get to the Hokage Tower and get our mission underway.

"Probably Sasuke judging by the face down Team 7 picture on a bookshelf, but the bed covers are pink, so…"

It's like it's already stained with the blood of his enemies!

It's more likely that since Sasuke lives on his own, he didn't know to separate his reds and whites. And you mock him so.
