Hey Ash, This New Guy Seems Kind of... Sketchy

(2012)

Orange Islands (82 - 116)

day 316 ash lands on valencia/gets gs ball {ep82-83} day 317 brock leaves the group/ tracey joins/ash gets lapras {ep84}

They're on a blimp, they're on a blimp, everybody look at them— OHSHI **CRASH** well as Launch-pad from Duck Tales would say “any crash you can walk away from is a good one, right Mr. Mc Duck?”

Ah yes, the GS ball a plot thread that will go absolutely nowhere, though I don't remember why. Ash is being pretty irresponsible though, Pr. Oak + Pr. Ivy both said that the delivery of the GS ball was super important to scientific research, but Ash just blows that off to go battle... and surprisingly they're both OK with that. Huh?

The instant Brock exits, the ((UST)) between Ash and Misty skyrockets, as the OI arc is filled with Pokéshipping hints. Lastly as the group are dependent on Lapras to get from one island to another, travel time must be extremely short, as otherwise they'd run out of food and water or drown when they pass out/go to sleep on top of her, (what, Lapras just seems like a girl to me.) Tracey is Tracey is Tracey, know what I'm sayin; anyway just check his bio further down.

(2013) The beginning and ending of the Orange Islands made it worth the watch, even if the middle was just kinda there to fill time quality wise (excusing an ep or 2 as standouts) better than that mess that's BW, seriously if not for like five episodes I'd just— {Apoligies, my new-old fan rage peaks from time to time, back to OG)

day 318 ash gets first OI badge {ep85}

Surfing on a loch ness monster, you can't stop me now. Oh no no no, you just can't stop me now. Though I find it interesting that the Orange league tests trainer aptitude and compatibility with their Pokémon in ways other than a slug fest.

(2013) No one could possibly guess thatt song parody, not that I expect anyone to care.

day 320 butch+cassidy round 2/jessie actualy used lickitung/togepi learned metronome {ep86}

Amen, Hallelujah and Peanut Butter, she finally used that tongue lizard thing. The whole crew teaming up is always fun, and again that explosion that Pikachu caused took out half a building, and Ash was holding him when he attacked... what did Ash take all his intelligence and wisdom points and dump them into constitution?

(2013) So how come B+C actually get arrested multiple times, but J+J never do? Not like they're any more/less threatening or effectibe.

A filler arc that has filler? Ooh let's get by this quickly: 87 "the crystal onix", has one good fourth wall gag from TR, 88,89,90 however, are just really dumb/boring and thus are unsalvageable. 91 in a nice change of pace is a psyduck episode, so therefore it's good stuff. (2013) 1 year later... yep, still nothing comes to mind. Johto's still gonna be a pain to transcribe the recap, and that's without re-rewatching all the filler

Next Time... "Oh, you have a Scyther now, I guess that's cool" or "Huh, vacati- I mean the League's already over?" Ep 92-109
