Now it’s time for the GMPC of this game, the Wild Card. The Wild Card is the mascot of the Cliche. First off, I got a few questions.........

  • Question #1: Is the Wild Card a real animal (dog, cat, wolf, tiger, snake, etc.)
  • My View: Very Unlikely
  • Mythic View: 89. Nope.

  • Question #2: Is the Wild Card a female?
  • My View: Very Likely
  • Mythic View: 55. Yes. If I was in the middle of the game, I would do a random event.

With that, I’m assuming correctly that they are two safe female fictional characters: a fairy or a mermaid. If it’s not the former, it’s the later. And it’s not the former, it’s the later.

  • Question #3: Is the “Wild Card” a fairy?
  • My View: 50/50
  • Mythic View: 51. Nope. It’s the mermaid.

Lucky, I had already done a mermaid wild card before for RPG Net. She is called Waterfall. Her full stats is below. I gave her the following: a 7 in Strength, a 7 in Moves, and a 7 in Health — leaving a 3 for Smarts.

The Wild Card gets one special traits that no one else. It’s call a Quirk. It’s free. For Waterfall, I give her the following: Always has to comb her hair after getting hit by something: food, trash, monster's tail, etc.

For her abilities I give her the following: “Speaks”, “Brawler”, “Fish Out of Water”, “Wild Wiz: The Sea”, and “Skit”. Appearance and Background are in the full stats below:

Full Stats: Waterfall

  • Name: Waterfall
  • The Wild Card
  • Stats:
    • Strength: 7
    • Moves: 7
    • Smarts: 3
    • Health: 7
  • Abilities:
    • Speaks = (No Roll Need) The Wild Card can talk and everyone (not just the Clique) understands. [Cost: 2]
    • Brawler = (Strength + 6) The Wild Card is able to fight with any natural part of its body, such as teeth, claws, fists, etc. [Cost: 7]
    • Fish Out of Water = (Health + 1d6) The Wild Card can adapt to any environment, regardless of its species. [Cost: 5]
    • Wild Whiz (The Sea) = (Smarts + 6) This knowledge can be of any subject matter (not just school subjects), but only one subject per Whiz ability. Examples: Wild Whiz - Comic Books, Wild Whiz - Pop Songs, Wild Whiz - Italian cuisine, etc. [Cost: 6]
    • Skit = (Smarts + 6) The Wild Card has the talent to turn the situation into a funny skit in order to confuse the monster or villain. The skit must be described to all players. [Cost: 6]
  • Quirk: Always has to comb her hair after getting hit by something: food, trash, monster’s tail, etc.)
  • Appearance: Waterfall is a blonde hair and blue eye teenage mermaid with a green tail usually wearing a white pearl necklace and a gray t-shirt.
  • Background: One day, Lolly Lava and Eve Grays went fishing. Not having any luck at their spot, they were about to give up for the day — but Lolly got a hook on Waterfall’s tail. After a fight, Waterfall ended up on the beach. Lolly thought Waterfall was someone playing a “silly joke” on her and yanked both Waterfall’s tail and hair trying. Lolly getting tired asked Waterfall if someone did a surgery to remove her legs and replace them with a tail. Waterfall answer “no” to Lolly. Lolly was confused by this. Eve asked one question to Waterfall that shocked Lolly — “Were you born with that tail?” Waterfall answered, “Yes.”
