Chapter 37: A New Name
Elayne tells Thom and Juilin everything about the mission, and both decide to stay with her anyway. The next morning, she also reveals to Birgitte that she’s only Accepted, but Birgitte agrees to be her Warder and keep the secret. She also joins the circus with her archery skills, replacing Thom in his and Nynaeve’s act.
Birgitte is already breathing new life into this story, reminiscent of a heroine from the Tortall Universe. And it’s great to see an end to the secrets here, as there was really no point to them for a while.
