Chapter 24: A Message Sent
Egwene catches Elayne talking to Birgitte in the dream world, but then Amys and Bair show up and they get down to business. Nynaeve is having a hard time with the performers, and just came close to using the Power on them, and Cerandin has an a’dam with her. Egwene tries to covertly give a message to meet away from the Wise Ones, but isn’t sure she gets it.
I’d rather see Elayne and Nynaeve’s issues firsthand, but these meetings remain a good way to let these two meet when it seems they’ll be separated for the forseeable future. It’s also nice to see Egwene at least trying to take charge away from the Wise Ones, though it’ll probably be a while before she succeeds.
