Chapter 14: Meetings
Nynaeve talks with Birgitte in the dream world and learns the Forsaken have been starting to use it more recently. After a Crowning Moment Of Funny when Egwene and Melaine catch her trying out sexy clothes, they fill each other in, while Nynaeve gets paranoid that Melaine is trying to steal Lan.
So, the Nynaeve/Lan thing is back, and still no better. I just can’t take it as seriously as the story wants me to, and so Nynaeve comes off as completely childish. Though at least this time I get the feeling we’re supposed to think that, given Melaine’s treatment of her.
