Chapter 12: An Old Pipe
Bryne is hard on Siuan’s trail, and learns the group headed west after leaving the town. As his men mount up, he recalls the time when Siuan mysteriously demanded he remove all his men from the Murandy border, and he never learned why.
Obviously that Murandy incident is going to be important somehow, and Bryne will probably get the whole story from Siuan when they meet again. It’s nice to see he’s become a full viewpoint character, as what we see here definitely earns it.
