First, something I forgot last chapter: Moirane has found the final seal, but now they’re all falling apart. It’s nice that it happens at the beginning of the book this time, as that formula had really run its course.
Rand and Asmodean talk about more things, which is more naked catching up, although he does mention that Rahvin has a queen under his control, so that’s now my guess for who Gaebril is. And the Maidens guarding Rand are getting a bit fed up with so many of them suddenly deciding to marry. Mat is considering leaving with Kadere whenever he goes, but first he attracts the interest of a rogue Shaido named Melindhra, and they prepare to have sex.
Plenty more exposition here, which I can only hope is done now, though it’ll probably start up again when we get to Perrin and Elayne/Nynaeve. The one thing to really talk about is the possibility of Mat getting his own storyline again, and since that’s the time so far that I’ve found him the most tolerable, I really hope it happens.
