The epic saga where even Death trolls people, it's more Slightly Damned!

Page 11:

We return to Buwaro clearly distraught over failing to breathe fire last time. Suddenly determined, he swears to try again, and takes another deep breath...

Apparently determination is all he needed, because this time, it works! Buwaro lets out a Flamethrower that is enough to impress a Charizard, let alone little ol' me. Hmmm, maybe there's hope for him yet...

...except for the fact that said fire breath was aimed directly at Rhea...and only leaves her mildly singed. A pity, since I wondering how well roast Jakkai would go over at a holiday dinner.

Oh right, the liveblog.

Anyway, Rhea is again pissed off, give Buwaro a death glare. Buwaro lets out a "Meep!", clearly scared of what Rhea has planned.

Page 12:

Rhea's plan? To give Buwaro a taste of someone's own medicine. It's not hers (the metaphor kind of fails here), considering that Rhea can't do fire magic.

However, apparently she can do earth magic just fine. Rhea punches the ground, causing the rocks to shatter and break, leading to a large stone flying up and socking Buwaro right in the face, taking him out.

Dang, Rhea, you're tougher than you look.

Of course, Rhea starts thinking this herself, and promptly lets it go to her head. She boastfully laughs, claiming that she wishes that all demons aren't as weak as Buwaro.

Cue one shadowy figure coming up behind her and proclaiming "They're not".

Page 13:

The shadowy figure is revealed in an extra-large panel! And...it's a winged zebra/fox furry, with pierced ears, long claws, and looking 100% business. Oh yeah, and she is much, much taller than Rhea.

Rhea is terrified. Buwaro? Ecstatic, greeting the newcomer with a friendly, "Hi, Sakido!"

Still trying to prevent her own cardiac arrest, Rhea gasps out about Buwaro knowing this entity. Buwaro nonchalantly tells Rhea that this Sakido is his big sister.

Rhea, at a loss for words, can only say "...wonderful." At least Ms. Sassy Jakkai isn't trolling anyone for now.

Page 14:

Sakido, being the most to-the-point character so far, asks Rhea who she is. Rhea, of course, is still speechless.

Buwaro, however, isn't. He introduces Rhea and tells Sakido that he's in charge of her while she is in hell. While flowers and hearts pop in around Buwaro's head (what), Sakido inspects Rhea.

Sakido concludes that Rhea doesn't look too dangerous. Of course, she doesn't know how trollish Rhea can get...yet.

Buwaro then randomly declares that Rhea is his new "bestest" friend, giving her an extremely tight hug. Even after all the abuse she's put him through. Wow, Buwaro needs...help.

Page 15:

While Buwaro laments over having "broken" Rhea, Sakido asks if Death left anything for her today. Buwaro informs her that he only dropped off Rhea, nothing else.

Sakido was clearly expecting something, and states she's disappointed. Meanwhile, Rhea regains consciousness, and growls at Buwaro while he celebrates her return to the land of the aware. However, Sakido is quick to interrupt both of their respective emotions.

She warns them that someone named "Iratu" may visit them soon, and that they should be wary. This leaves Buwaro nervous, which, given his happy-go-lucky nature thus far, cannot be a good thing. Rhea, of course, has no clue what is going on.

Sakido turns away, starting to explain that the warning is why she came now, when she sees...something off-panel. Whatever it is, it's enough to freak her into speechlessness, and leave both Buwaro and Rhea staring.

So what are they seeing? Is it Death? Iratu? A giant wave of babies? Stay tuned.
