Chapter 32: Questions to be Asked
Loial has to stay behind as the others go to Watch Hill, being too noticeable and to keep an eye on Alanna. On the way there, Perrin figures out the Trollocs not attacking Emond’s Field itself must mean something, but first they stop at a farm that’s taken in a bunch of refugees, and the rest of the chapter is just everyone catching up.
The chapter starts off well, with very atmospheric descriptions of how Two Rivers has changed, but then it grinds to a halt once we get to the farmhouse. I have no attachment to these people, so page after page of them just sitting around and discussing things we already know gets very tedious. At least we get confirmation that Ordeith is Fain.

This farmhouse stuff is relevant, although it may take a chapter or two for it to become clear.
