Go To

Well, I'm back. While I was gone. I did some Veldt grinding with Pinkie. I managed to lose money in the process though, as some jerk monster stole some GP from me! Sigh, anyway, It did give me a chance to test out Dash's Gamble attack. Personally, I don't like it. It's too random. Probably with good timing, you can get the slot to land on what you want, but I don't have the patience to learn this timing. As it is, I can get a move about 50% of the time, and I can't pick what move it is. (As far as I can tell, the second and third reel are biased somewhat, making it more likely to land on a matching symbol). With the failure move being a weak party heal, it's not worth the messing up. At least the moves I can get seem powerful. I also noticed that Twilight has a new skill, called morph. I haven't been able to use it yet though, as it has been greyed out. Anyway, I swapped Dash with Luna. Off to Neighshe!

At Neighshe, I get escorted to where the elder, Arvis and Mayor Mare is. It seems that Neighshe has decided to fight the empire!

The party has a plan. Combine Neighshe's money with Canterlot's machinery, and attack the empire directly! There is a problem with a lack of manpower though. (but this is an RPG. My party counts as an army itself!)

The mayor says we have to open the sealed gate. The one to the esper world. The power of the espers is the only way we can win against the empire. I presume they mean by asking them to help, and not enslaving/killing them for Magicite.

With the gate open, the espers can attack from the east, while Canterlot attacks from the north. Of course, this is presuming that they actually help. A diplomat is needed to show that Ponies and Espers can work together. Twi is a perfect candidate for this.

Twi says she will do it.

OK, off to explore the town again. The shops have new gear. Shame I'm too poor to get anything. -_-

Hey! In that house with a large amount of treasure chests I opened a while ago, including a locked one, there is a pickpocket inside, called Lone Wolf! He's a werewolf! He wanted to open the locked chest and steal what was inside, and it looks like he did, the chest is empty. Lone Wolf runs away! Get back here, I was after that chest first! Gah, he ran into the mines!

OK, I saw that pony again, the one I saw in a hole in the side of the cliff the last time I was at Neighshe. She was in the same hole, too. Can I get to her?

Ah, I'm at where I defended the esper from Discord.

And here is where the esper was. Heh, Looks like I've cornered Lone Wolf. Wait, he has a Scootaloo with him?

Ah, he's holding her hostage! I can't get close, so he will kill her! What should I do?

OK, I seriously have no idea what to do, But I don't want to leave, as I get the feeling that this is where I can get a scootaloo of my own, (I'd had been spoilt that I can get one permanently as a party member, though I don't know how. I also know I can use her to get another party member, though again, I don't know how.) and I don't want to risk Lone Wolf escaping...

Sigh, I really don't want to miss getting a party member. It's the one thing I want to get 100 percent of, but I don't want to risk leaving unless I know it to be the only way possible... I can't think of anything to do though...

... Wait, what? The Scootaloo is struggling! They have both been flung to opposite sides of the cliff! (All I had to do was wait?) I'll save you, Scootaloo!

Huh, this one can actually speak. Well, I name her.

Apparently, Ramuh came to her in a dream, and said that if she goes with us, she can meet Rainbow Dash. Yep, she joins the party!

Wolf used this distraction to jump off the cliff to get away. Will I see him again? Probably not. ^_^

I go back to the airship, and replace Luna with Scoot. Lets see what she can do! She has Soar, like Dash, and can also Dance. When Scoot Dances, she can't be stopped unless she does a healing move. While Dancing, she picks random moves from a possible number for that dance. I pick a Dance from a list, each being able to do different things. (Though I only have one right now, so I'm only guessing at that) The background changes to suit the dance she does.

So, off to the sealed gate then.

Ack, or not. I Got to go again. I really wish this part wasn't so short, but there isn't anything I can do about it.

Until next time. ^_^

Oh, yes. Again, anything you wish for me to see or do, please tell me so, though without spoilers, if possible.

It's worth it to take the round the continent trip with Scootaloo. You start in Nieghse, go south through the cave. Go through the mountains to the old resistance hideout, up the river which will put you back by the start of Luna's scenario. Down through the forest, off the waterfall. Across the Veldt. Into the cave and into the water passage. Which brings you back to Neighse, or to a place where you can get a ship for Neighse. That will get you 6/8 dances.

The really important one in the above scenario is the water passage.

You need to fight in a town with Scootaloo for number 7/8, and in snow for 8/8.

^ This is the only way you'd be able to get the water dance for Scoot.

I should point out that the dancer gains new dances from fighting on certain terrain - but Using a dance changes the battle's terrain, preventing them from learning.

Also, I should point out that soar has a better damage multiplier when the user has a spear equipped.
