Trixie puts on a show.

Hello again, and welcome to my LP. Last time, we Found Twi, and was told by an esper to rescue other espers in the empire's Magicteck Research Facility. Then he killed himself.

OK, The only think I can do right now is to head back to Manehattan, and see what plan my party has.

OK, I'm there. I guess I should ask around.

Hmm, there's an opera house to the south. Perhaps I should go there?

Yep, found it.

It's closed. Of course!

Well, back to Manehatten.

Huh, someone says that Trixie looks just like someone called Sparkler. A opera singer, apparently. Trixie seems pleased by this.

Huh, that pony dropped a letter. Apparently, he is the director of the Opera house. He's called Ingram.

Huh, it's a letter to Sparkler? It says that her shows are too boring, so the writer is planing to kidnap her, and replace her with someone better... It's signed by... Rainbow Dash?!

Rainbow Dash is the owner of the world's only airship. The thing is, an airship would be very helpful in getting to the empire... the party decides that they need to "Borrow" it.

Well, I think these are big hints to go back to the opera house.

Yep, it's open now. I talk to Ingram about the letter. He reckons that RD will try to kidnap her during the course of the opera. The obvious choice would be to not hold the opera, and keep Sparkler safe, but Ingram is apparently on thin ice as it is, and can't afford more problems like that.

Bloom comes up with a plan. Replace Sparkler with Trixie, and have RD capture her instead. Then, when that happens, The party will follow them, hopefully straight to her airship. Which we will then take. Ingram Likes the plan, though Trixie is not pleased, though it seems to be less the kidnapping part, and more considering herself above singing in gaudy costumes. Nice priorities there, Trixie.

Actually, wait, It seems more like Trixie is worried that she can't sing. After saying that she doesn't want to, Trixie runs into a nearby room. Bloom puts her ear to the door, and hears Trixie singing to herself, much to Blooms amusement.

Wait, What the hell? The screen panned a bit to the left, and I saw that Octopus thing from the river near the start of the game. (Called Ultros, by the way). It looks like he plans to foil our plan. For shits and giggles, as far as I can tell.

OK, it looks like we convinced Trixie, as the Opera is starting. It looks like a full house.

OK, It appears to be an opera about a war between the east and west. The west had a great hero, Blueblood, who had a love called Maria. Blueblood worries about her.

OK, I'm controlling Bloom now. I guess I should check up on Trixie.

Huh, the score of the Opera. It gives some instructions on what to do, like carry flowers to a balcony.

Heh, it's kind of funny to see the Trixie sprite dressed up pretty. Bloom says that Trixie has a nice tail under her normal cape. Trixie gets the wrong impression. XD

Trixie asks again, why Bloom rescued her. Bloom says that she was tired of not doing anything when ponies needed help.

Oh good, Trixie seems to be planning on Ad-libbing the entire Opera, instead of reading the score...

OK, back to the Opera. The west lost the war, and Maria's castle was taken. Prince Ralse, of the east, took her by force, but she never stopped yearning for Blueblood.

Wait... I have to Pick the lines Trixie says?! I didn't realise I had to memorise the score! This is what you get for Ad-Libbing, Trixie! Err... I have two choices... Let's go for the more Opera sounding one...

... It was the wrong one. *Facepalm*

I may have got kicked out of the theatre...

Ah, Luckily, Ingram is giving me more chances. 3, to be exact. I shouldn't need another one though, since this time, I will write down the score.

OK, Take Two! This time I pick all three choices correctly.

Basically, Maria(Trixie) is singing about how she is sad without Blueblood, but she has one chance to be happy, and that is to go on without him, even though it hurts to do so.

OK, I have movement control now. I'm under a time limit to follow the score, I bet. Well, right now, I just need to talk to Blueblood. He appears to be a ghost. He dances around a bit, and I follow him. He turns info flowers, which I grab, and go to the balcony. Trixie Throws the flowers off the edge and sings a bit more. Someone comes to her, and tells the that Prince Ralse wants a dance parter.

OK, Scene one done.

Scene two, Maria is dancing with Prince Ralse. More importantly, I gain control over Bloom. Bloom find a letter in the dressing room. It's from Ultros! It's saying he plans to mess up the opera as vengeance for beating him up. We must stop him. First, I tell Ingram about the letter. On the stage, some survivors of the west have come to attack, including Blueblood. Ralse challenges Blueblood to a duel for Maria.

Oh god, In the rafters, Ultros is hiding, with a 4 ton weight to drop on Maria/Trixie!

Heh, he misjudged his strength. I should have time to stop him, before he drops it on her.

OK, the party has 5 minutes to get to him. I head to the right, where I was told to go.

Err, levers? Which one do I pull? Err... this one? Oh god, It opens a trap door beneath us! Why do they even ''have'' that lever?

... It dumps me on the stage... Err... Quick, pretend to be an actor!

Or just run along the crowds heads to get to the exit. That works to.

Oh, wait, I was told which lever to press, I just didn't pay attention. *Facepalm*

... I am somewhat tempted to pull the others, to see what they do... But I'm on a time limit! Pull the correct lever!

OK, It didn't seem to do anything... Err... Run back to Ingram? No? Ran around like crazy? Actually, yes! I found a new path that leads to the rafters!

Ah, there are monsters here! The timer still counts down, too!

OK, got to Ultros. Had about half my time left, too!

He tackles my party off the rafters, and we land on stage. I don't think this is part of the script. Heh, we land on Blueblood and Ralse, knocking them out.

Bloom starts ad-libbing that she will save Sparkler/Trixie.

Ultros starts talking about how he is octopus royalty, and how bloom cannot defeat him. While I doubt he is ad-libbing himself, It works.

Ah boss fight with Ultros. Ingram tells the band to start playing. Well, Time to put on a show!

Ah, He can cast Muddle (Confuse) and Imp (Removes special abilities)... Good thing I remember that Green Cherries cure Imp.

Wow, I'm almost out of cherries. He doesn't deal that much damage though. He does seem to have High HP, just live every other boss in this mod, so It's just a fight of attrition.

Ah, Luna's new fire move does a fair bit of damage to him. It's a bit tricky to pull off the key combo to use it, at least on a keyboard, since it uses diagonals, but I've got it down.

Ah, he ran off again. I guess I win!

Wait, RD just jumped down from the roof and grabbed Trixie!

Ingram is still Ad-libbing like crazy, saying that instead of being Bloom's new Queen, (Isn't Bloom a bit young?) Maria has been taken by RD! He then tells the audience to stay tuned for part two, and the curtain closes.

OK, to Dash and Trixie. Dash locks Trixie in the airship's hold. Luckily, the others got onboard, and are now with her.

Right, time to convince Dash to help us. Or just commandeer the vessel. Yar, Pirates!

OK, Dash is back. She worked out she didn't capture Sparkler. She then asks if she is a spy. (Reference!)

Ah, Dash's plan was to turn the opera into a show about her adventures. Egotist, much?

Trixie calls Dash a coward for not taking them to the capital. Bloom joins in.

Celestia says that she knows Dash is the best flier in Equestria, so that's why they came to her.

Dash thinks about it. She says she is tempted.

Ah, back to control of my party! I look around a bit. Dash has a casino on her airship? Some shops too.

Anyway, I talk to Dash again. She says not even the Wonderbolts (Basically the Red Arrows) would do something as crazy as taking down the empire. Apparently, in this world, the Wonderbolts are now nothing but Empire puppets. The party talk about how the empire is evil. Dash starts thinking that Rainbow Dash, Freedom fighter, has a nice ring to it.

Dash agrees, as long as we join her when we are done with the empire. Bloom isn't happy about the joining her part.

Trixie makes a bet with Dash, based on a coin toss. Heads, Dash helps the party. tails, we join her. Dash agrees.

It's heads. ^_^ Wait, the coin had 2 heads! It didn't have a tails! Celestia gave it to Trixie. Luna is less than pleased about Celestia using that coin.

Dash is oddly OK with the trickery.

OK, we are off to the empire! Dash sends the airship here to the empire, trying to not act suspiciously. She decides to stays aboard when we land to guard the ship.

OK, we have landed on empire territory! This is a good time to end it.

Until next time. ^_^

...

Am I the only one picking up some minor shipping between Trixie and Bloom?

There is a ton of shipping between Trixie and Bloom in the original game.

Also some between Celestia and Twi, but that seems to have been more toned down.
