Chapter 10A: A Missing Friend
Before the battle began, I gave Tana one of my Angelic Robes so she could take a bit more damage.
- I decided to leave Innes and the others to fend for themselves while Eirika, Tana, and the others rounded the bend and climbed the mountain path.
- Since she was going to have to stop on that square anyways, I thought it would be a great idea to try and get a little extra cash and exp at the arena with Eirika. I figured that with her stats, she would have no problem handling any of the fighters...until they decided to throw a Level 20 Wyvern Knight at me. Defense+Lances=RETREAT!
- Pablo was slow, but strong. In order to end it quickly, Eirika was forced to use her Silver Sword again to soften him up. Garcia and Tana tried to finish him off with their ranged weapons, but when Garcia missed, Eirika had to go at him again with his Iron Sword. But on a positive note, that fight was the one that got her to level 20.
- Unfortunately, I had to leave Marisa behind. She was WAY too far away from the action, and the Ballista near Innes meant that recruting Gerik with Innes (who would have been recruited with Tana) would have been both risky and would take too long. It's kind of a pity, since apperently Eirika can use Marisa's Shamshir. Ah well, maybe on the B route.
A minor lie earlier. I've actually gotten to this chapter once in an earlier attempt of Eirika's route that I didn't go through with a few years back. But from here on, it truely is all new to me.
