Hey, everybody! This is Jorge The Awesome, and I'm making my first liveblog on the my favorite visual novel.

A brief summary: Hotel Dusk stars Kyle Hyde, an ex-cop who left the force after shooting his former partner, Bradley, who went rogue. He has since went under employment at Red Crown, run by a friend of his dad, whose name is Ed. Red Crown specializes in retrieval of "lost objects". He is sent to Hotel Dusk, a run-down hotel on a desert highway, in order to find a certain few objects. However, what he discovers at Hotel Dusk leads to solving the mysteries of his past, of Bradley, and of many other things as well.

As you may know, Hotel Dusk is a DS game, which features a unique style in which the DS is turned on its side, which makes it look like a book. It is a combination of point-and-click adventure game tropes and classic visual novel tropes as well. Its gameplay has you walking around Hotel Dusk, investigating it, and talking to characters. Speaking of characters, the game's ensemble is incredibly diverse and well-written. Anyway, the game is really entertaining, and discovering the plot for the first time is just great. The artwork is amazing, you should see it for yourself. The music is good too.

Anyway, I'm going to be doing a New Game Plus (for the first time) so even I may come across something I didn't know. Feel free to comment and make suggestions. My main question is: Should I do unnecessary things like examine the furniture, or should I just go with the plot? Any comments are greatly appreciated. I'll be updating on Mondays, with half a chapter to a full chapter.

I'd say go with whatever you feel comfortable with, but try not to stray too far from the plot. I haven't played the game so I am looking forward to this Blog.
