The Hit/Evade calculations for staff magic are so bullshit.
Before the chapter, Natasha was promoted to Valkyrie, Neimi was given the Energy Ring, and Ross was given the Talisman.
On the eastern side of the castle, Ephraim, Natasha, Cormag, Neimi, and L'Arachel charged towards the locked doors while Ross made his way by himself up the other side. When Ross got to the Knights in front of the locked door, he equipped his Hand Axe and used some of his Pure Water in order to avoid getting put to sleep. Once the door was opened, he killed the Bishop for a Shine tome and then proceeded to the northwest chest to get an Angelic Robe.
As for the other group, Cormag stayed back where the enemy reinforcements were coming in to meet them, while Ephraim killed the center Knight and unlocked the door. Neimi took out the Bishop and the others swarmed through, killing the Knights and Myrmidon. L'Arachel spoke with Rennac for him to join them. Shortly after, Neimi was Berserk'd, but Natasha cured it with the Restore staff. Once the throne room was unlocked, Neimi took her chance to kill some of the Druids, who were attempting to Berserk others. She reached the level cap and promoted to Ranger. Cormag fought off the incoming Shamans and promoted to Wyvern Lord.
Ephraim approached Vigarde and attempted to hit with the Reginleif, missing the first, sustaining a very heavy hit which was healed by Natasha, and then hitting the second. During the Enemy Phase, Ephraim dodged the attack and hit twice for the kill.
