After more stuff reminding us who Moiraine and Lan are, everyone discusses the news that Leya gave. The Whitecloaks are subtly leaving Rand’s supporters alone, as per Nial’s plan, and three other boys fitting his description have been killed by a new creature called a Soulless, which can slip by the tightest defense, though we get no more description of them, probably because no one really knows. And that is really it.
Man, am I feeling the Get On With It Already here. Books one and two also took a while to really get going, but at least other things were happening in the meantime, in interesting settings. This place is giving us absolutely nothing as we watch all our heroes just sit around. The Soulless are a good concept, but they also need to do something to really improve things.
