Mordecai still seems to be bad at stealth.

Big blue tigers who shake the ground with ever bound are not the optimal choice for covert operations.

Chapter 2-2 - Tides of Intrigue: Finished.

Mordecai: Took the bottom path, and got held up early on by all of the god-forsaken ranged foes. He took down the close range enemies easily enough, but was forced to keep using Olivi grasses because he couldn't attack and then remain shifted on the enemy phase and survive the assault. Heather ran by and gave him some help with those enemies, and he took the fight to them, plowing through the cocky bowmen and mages with one strike each, before charging forward. He took down the remaining foes with little issue, and even avoided all of the attacks of poison weapon foes. Once he and Heather rejoined at the end near the boss, he damaged the armored foes so she could finish them off.

Heather: Not actually a party member, but she got heavy use due to needing 20 strength for something later. As it is, she slipped by enemies and stabbed them with Lucia's help, breaking off to help Mordecai before heading down her path again and slowly but surely killing all of the foes. She also killed the boss for the extra experience.

Maraj: Was killed by Heather for experience, so the fight doesn't matter, through Heather had little trouble with him.

Up Next: Mordecai saves Fort Alpea from the forces of Ludveck!
