This song gives me all dem feels, man. I love it. The chapter, as well as Katarina's recruitment, is also quite interesting, since she is the only person MU ever recruits.

Chapter 16x - Reunion: Finished.

Base: Three new conversations, and they're all level 3! Jeorge and Lyra (3) involved Jeorge explaining that he was part of House Menedy, one of Archanea's five noble houses, which retained its influence through trickery and manipulation. He despised this trait, which is why he didn't marry Midia, but he carries that trait with him always, and though he hates it, for the sake of his duty, he can't help but use it on the battlefield. Lyra asks him how he sees the war ending, and he says he knows we will win, so long as Lyra is alive. Horace and Lyra (3) deals with Horace asking Lyra to spar, Horace having developed a deep respect for Lyra's devotion and care towards her liege, although at first it seems as though he's propositioning her romantically. Gordin and Jeorge (3) involves Gordin finally surpassing Jeorge's benchmark, but deciding he cares not for these comparisons, and wishes to simply improve his own skill. Jeorge agrees, and respects the complete lack of arrogance within him. How's Everyone yields only a luck potion. Inventory wise, I clean out some more junk (now useless master seals, some more tomes and staves, etc.), and hand the Lightsphere, Starsphere, and a pure water to Lyra, while also emptying her pockets of her weapons. The only members within the party for this chapter are Lyra, Ryan, Gordin, and Jeorge, alongside Marth, obviously.

Marth: Did nothing really, except stand around.

Ryan, Gordin, & Jeorge: Dealt with most of the auxiliary foes, including all of the foes around Lyra within the cove of stones, and every reinforcement. They made sure Lyra wasn't disturbed in her actions by anyone that they could prevent.

Lyra: Spoke to Katarina three times. The first two times, she allowed Katarina to speak, and took her attacks willingly, dodging most of the other enemies strikes. After speaking to her the third time, she convinced her that, even despite the crimes she's committed, she can still atone for them, and live a life that she wants to. Jeorge then ran over and handed her a silver bow, with which she massacred the last three assassin mooks with.

Afterward: Katarina begs Marth to execute her for her crimes, so she may atone, but Marth says he will not, for death is just a way to run from what you have done. Marth wants her to atone with her life, not her death, and she can't even begin to imagine what that means. Marth knows she has spent all her life taking orders, and now asks her to think for herself, and find a way to atone from there.

Up Next: Gra's Setting Sun, where we go to the third recycled main level in a row, if I recall right.

You know, I wonder if Katarina and Horace have a support? Probably not, but I think it'd be interesting, considering their similar conditions (guilt over treason, being spared by their new lords despite asking for death). I know their cases are otherwise completely different, but I am reminded of Horace in Katarina's recruitment.

Now that you mention it, I can see that. I doubt they have a support (although it'd be cool), but I can definitely see where you're coming from in regards to their similarities.

It's too bad that serenesforest says that Katarina only supports with Avatar, Marth, and Cecile. Supporting with Horace would've been nice.

Oh, she supports with Cecil? I suspected she supported with Marth and Avatar, but supporting with Cecil is a bit surprising.
