That was rather underwhelming.

Kleine's sorta wimpy. She talks a big game, with her whole "You want to escape from this darkness? I'm afraid I won't let you. You will never see sunlight again" spiel, but when she is completely outmatched in every aspect by someone with an iron bow, she just doesn't seem that threatening.

Chapter 13x - White Darkness: Finished.

Base: The party I brought into this chapter consisted of Marth, Lyra, Ryan, Gordin, Warren, Norne, and Horace, since they are the sturdiest party members and could thus deal with surprise attacks most effectively. The only new talk is Norne and Lyra (3), where Norne reminds Lyra of an old memory. Norne had gotten lost in the forest between their towns when they were younger, and Lyra had found and comforted her, being lost herself. They kept each other company until the adults of the village found them, and Lyra's drive to become a knight spurred Norne to do so as well, and Norne asks Lyra to join her in returning to the village, at least once, after the war is over, so that they may walk that old path again. How's Everyone yields a strength and resilience boost for Warren, but little else. The inventory situation is a bit iffy, since we are running low on steel bows, but other than that, all is basically well, and some restocking is done.

Marth: Stays back until there is only one ballista left, so that he may go out and collect the treasure, and Iote's shield. The final foes is slain, ending the chapter.

Athena: Stays near the beginning of the map, out of range of possible foes, so as to avoid being attacked.

Party: Fans out and begins clearing out all of the foes, working in pairs. Horace and Gordin head through the middle, Ryan and Norne head east, and Warren and Lyra head north. They quickly clear their way through the enemies, and this chapter ends far easier than the previous one.

Kleine: Attacked Norne, hitting her for four damage and getting countered by a normal hit and a critical.

Afterwards: We head into the Ice Dragon Shrine, and Katarina appears, leading the wounded Kleine back to their current base. She begs Eremiah to help tend to Kleine's wounds, but because Kleine failed, she abandons her just like she did Roro. Kleine asks Katarina to spend her last few moments with her, before she too dies.

Up Next: A Mystery Revealed, where the Starsphere is restored to its former glory, and we leave Anri's way.

A boss armed only with a bow? I kinda thought they didn't have those. After all, most anyone could simply waltz up to melee and take her out with no repercussions.

Well, she's not actually a stable boss. She hides in the fog of war, and when you get too close, she approaches and attacks you. She'd likely have been more threatening if there were a few more enemies near her to hold me off, her stats were better, and my army didn't consist of people who could counterattack her.

Yeah, Evil Girl Kleine seems like the type of boss (ranged, moves, in Fog of War) that could have been tough and scary to deal with...if she wasn't so weak. Then again, your guys could just be overpowered.

I think she is one of the harder bosses on the harder modes, for the reasons I mentioned.

My guys probably are a bit overpowered for this point in the game. Hard and Lunatic mode would likely make her quite a bit more dangerous, especially because she is liable to ambush you and knock you out without much warning.
