My hair gives me leadership skills!

Or at least, Merric thinks so. Also, we get Gordin again!

Prologue 5 - March Duty: Finished. Gordin and Lyra lured out one set of the bandits on the southern side, shooting one of them dead, while another decided to attack Merric and got melted in return. Ryan lured out another set after they finished theirs, and they assisted him in dealing with them, although a thief attacked Rody. They shot him dead, got healed by Wrys, and then went to take on the boss, who is a surprisingly speedy foe. The three archers were able to take him out with a collective effort, though he left Ryan a bit the worse for wear. I then choose the second option (Uneasy due to having noticed Roro), so as to get me Draug's chapter.

Roro's laugh is far too close to Valtome's for my liking, by the by.

Prologue 6 - Bonds: Finished. First fight with only archers (well, and Cecille, who trades Gordin and Ryan the two steel bows she brought) goes fairly smoothly. Gordin and Ryan cover the top bridge, while Lyra takes the bottom, and soon the enemies are defeated, although not before Lyra eats a pair of magic blasts. Draug steps in, and thanks to the steel bows, the party just barely finishes him off in one round. When prompted, I choose the second option (haven't thought about the Royal Guard position), so that I fight Est in the next chapter.

Prologue 7 - Final Test: I brought Wrys alongside the archers, since this chapter proves to be rather tricky. The party held a strong defense against the incoming foes, slowly picking them off as they drew near, but when the reinforcements came and Est joined the fray, things got hairy. The archers had to cover Wrys to avoid him being picked off, and even then, I wasn't able to save Gordin from a combined effort by Est and a cavalier. Had to actually restart, and then redid the positioning to prioritize the dangerous foes, allowing Gordin to survive a round. Ryan took down Est, and the remaining foes were soon dealt with by Lyra.

Up next: The final prologue chapter, a fair bit tougher than these, though in a different way.
