Things are picking up!

The enemies are getting strong enough to pose a threat to the less sturdy party members, although as of now they aren't competent enough to threaten the party as a whole.

Chapter 21 - Clash in Macedon: Finished.

Base: Properly equipped everyone, including Ymir, as well as the volunteer unit that joined us this chapter, a quiet and indistinct fellow by the name of Dua. Odd name, but hey, an extra hand is always nice, and his stats are decent (level 13, and reclassed to a sniper with a stat spread of 34 hp, 13 str, 1 mag, 16 skill, 12 spd, 0 luck, 14 def, and 3 res). Also forged a Killer Bow to have +30 critical and +2 might, dubbing the creation the Rienfleche.

Marth: Went around the mountainous edge of the map to visit the Secret Shop, bought out all of the five sets of three stat boosters there (Energy Drop, Spirit Dust, Secret Book, Speedwing, and Goddess Icon). Because the only thing better than a level 20/20 army, is a level 20/20 army on fuckin' steroids. Most of these are liable to go to Ymir, Jeorge, or Jake though, to bring them up to speed with the rest of the army, especially those energy drops.

Ymir & Sedgar: Took care of the right side of the map, pushing through the forests and mountains to deal with dracoknights and cavaliers. Ymir also covered for Marth in case of incoming foes, and proved himself a worthy member of the party, having just enough strength, skill, and speed to keep up with the party.

Wolf, Dua, & Jake: Traveled along the left side of the map, the former two not doing much while the latter sniped a few units for some experience. Dua tried to kill some dragoons, but he just can't keep up, and is too slow to double anyone.

Gordin, Navarre, Barst, Ogma, Norne, & Jeorge: Took the center, but did so slowly, allowing the others to push through and lure out foes on their sides before taking on the main force, since at this point the enemies can actually be a threat to the less burly units in the party.

Orridyon: Fought Ymir in a fierce battle, trading blows of near equal power until Ymir brought him down due to his greater health.

Levels: Jake 24, turning out pretty well so far; Ymir 12, pretty tough, he got some decent levels, namely some health and strength as constants.

Up Next: Michalis stands in our way as the final foe within Macedon.

What does Rienfleche mean? Should I know that, as a Fire Emblem fan?

You know, Michalis is an oddly handsome villain, despite being kind of a scumbag in this game. It's not often in Fire Emblem that you can't immediately tell that someone's evil (occasionally, you get conflicted and therefore pretty bad guys).

The Rienfleche was the S rank bow from Blazing Sword.

Good to know that Ymir is proving himself decent btw.

It's just the name of the S rank bow of Blazing Sword. I'm naming the forged weapons after other super weapons from other games, hence the Double Bow and Rienfleche.

Yeah, Michalis is stylish as hell, but he's also a roaring douche in all of his appearances. Murders his father, threatens Gotoh, tries to kill you even though you just want to go to Dolhr, is perfectly fine with murdering his sisters... Not a pleasant person in the least.
