This is the final time I must sacrifice people, thankfully.

I won't be going to chapter 24x, so I need not kill anyone else now that the final quota has been reached.

Chapter 20 - Camus the Sable: Finished.

Base: Everyone was restocked with more intact weapons, and one lucky individual was gifted the Starsphere and Lightsphere, as well as the Parthia, in order to match Camus. A Longbow was also forged with +10 might, dubbed the Double Bow, and is presently waiting in the Convoy. Maria and Minerva will also be joining the party in this battle, as they are to be sacrificed.

Marth: Visited the village with the Hammerne, and then seized.

Snipers: Cross the river that separates the castle area from the starting area, preparing to deal with every one of the foes on the way to the castle. They shoot their way through every foe, including Camus, luring them out by their groups and overwhelming them. Before long, they have struck down Lorenz, and cleared the area of all enemy forces.

Sedgar, Wolf, Barst, Ogma, & Jake: Headed around the long way towards the castle. Jake sniped all of the ballistician, including one carrying a Pachyderm, giving him the strongest weapon he has available to him. Everyone else pushes through the cavalry without too much trouble, and then fend off enemy reinforcements while the snipers clear out the top area.

Camus: The Sable, or Black Knight, he is the strongest warrior within all of Grust. Before him stands the League's own champion, with an iron will and a deft hand, Parthia in his grasp and the Starsphere and Lightsphere at his side. Camus the Sable faces Captain Gordin, Defender of Altea!

They trade blows, Gordin retaliating with two shots of the Parthia is response to Camus's Gradivus strike, putting to rest the honorable Sable of Grust.

After This: Gordin passes the Parthia and spheres to Jeorge, since it's only fair that he gets them considering he's the only Archanean here. Plus, it'll help him keep up with the others in terms of combat. Jeorge then kills Lorenz, and

Levels: Jake is now at level 21, and with the one chapter that grants him access to purchasable ballistae coming up, he will likely finish off his growth before the end of the game.

Up Next: The Lair of Fire, where we gain an odd ally in a situation that would otherwise have seemed lost...

[Takes off hat.] Truly a great man has died. It is always a tragedy when great and honorable men defend unjust regimes because of their misguided loyalty towards their nation.

Also, good for Jake! It's a shame that there's no upgraded Ballistician, as going to level 30 doesn't nearly make up for it.

Yeah, I always feel bad killing Camus, because the entire point of his archetype is someone who you'd think you can recruit, but who you are completely unable to.

Yeah, it's rather sad that he can only reach level 30, but hey, he's a support unit, so he won't need the levels as much as a frontline fighter.

Spoilers: Camus lives.

Anywho, wow Gordin just killed Camus in two shots! I know he was maxed out, had both the Parthia, the Starsphere, and the Lightsphere, but still! Geez!

Good to know that Jake is getting up there.

...Minerva!! Maria!! No! ;_;

Yup, he comes back as Sirius, though that practically isn't a spoiler, since he didn't even bother to change out of those sweet threads of his (I can see why not, but it's not really conducive to being a spy).

The Lightsphere doesn't do much, but it's nice not dealing with lowered hit chances from forests and such. But yeah, I expected Camus to be a bit stronger than that, though I give him props for being able to deal a decent amount of damage (12 is pretty good compared to every other foe) to Gordin.

Yeah, Jake is steadily progressing in levels. He gains exp fast, and since his weapons can only eat up one use per turn, he doesn't have to deal with them running out too much.

Technically, he came back as Zeek first. Camus's plot is a plot that touches on all the Akaneia games.

Oh, huh. Is his disguise any better, or is he still just wearing his usual outfit and a mask?

Actually, he is unmasked (and thus has the same portrait as in FE1)

His outfit is red instead of the usual black.

The catch is that he didn't know he was Camus until the end of the game.

Oh, so no one goes "holy shit Camus, you're alive?" Or does that happen and his amnesia make him go "Who?"

His outfit is red now, so I suppose his outfit would be black as Zeek, if Fe2 got remade.

I'm curious how he discovers this fact, since that sounds fairly interesting.

The only other characters from Akaneia in Gaiden are the Whitewings who are 1.in the other story route (Zeek is in Alm, the Whitewings in Cellica) and 2.not associated with Camus anyway.

According to his ending, he recovers his memories during the war after joining with Alm.

EDIT:Oh, no. Camus's outfit is still pretty dark now, even if not actually black anymore. Zeek's outfit is a much lighter red. Kinda like, Cain red or enemy red.

Oh. Looked it up and apparently it takes place in a different area altogether. Makes sense why they show up then, since Camus is gonna be wandering around a lot and the Whitewings can fly.

I see, so that explains why after returning he dons the mask, so as not to be found out. Makes sense.

Okay, I see.
