Not having a healer kinda sucks when the enemies can actually hurt you.

This chapter was pretty slow going all around, since I had to move slowly so as not to get swarmed by dragons, and then had to stop for a few turns to heal on forts. Finished on turn 22, but hey, better to lose time than lives, eh?

Chapter 12 - Graveyard of Dragons: Finished.

Base: Inventory stuff gets done first this time around. Horace trades the Virgo with Ryan for the Scorpio, helping his low speed, and giving Ryan another method of defense. Jake was properly equipped with weapons, and handed the Aries starshard for an extra skill and luck boost. Conversation wise, there is only Horace and Lyra (1), which involves Horace thanking Lyra for rescuing him, which she attributes to Marth. Horace finds this funny, because Marth did the same thing for her, and this camaraderie between lord and vassal leads to Horace desiring to learn from Lyra as they save Nyna. How's Everyone yields nothing in this chapter, and so we begin.

Marth: Recruited Darros and stayed hidden throughout the chapter, since any dragons would likely wreck him if given the chance. He seizes immediately after the boss is killed, because a horde of reinforcements appeared on both fort lines on the bridge, making them impossible to stop.

Party: Headed north, although Horace first detoured back towards the entrance to engage reinforcements who would strike us from behind. They slowly but surely drew out the wyverns and other advance forces, before slowly advancing. They picked apart the next set of enemy forces and recruited Darros, before stopping to heal all of their wounds. This gave Horace the chance to finish off the annoying bandit who remained of the enemies reinforcements, and rejoin the party. Once everyone was back in fighting condition, Horace had caught up, and the party advanced in full. They reached the top of the bridge, and Horace and Jake headed east to deal with the two fire dragons there, including one holding the Pisces starshard. Everyone else pushed through the remaining dragons, and not a moment too soon; Just as Marth and the others reached the seize point, a horde of foes that we wouldn't be able to stop from attacking Darros and swarming Jake and Horace appears. Ryan blasts through the Fire Dragon leader, giving Marth the opening to seize.

Savage Fire Dragon Guardian: Ryan slays the beast with a critical and a normal shot from his iron bow.

Afterwards: Xane explains the legend of Naga to Marth, and reveals that the Falchion is forged from one of her fangs, and that both he and Gotoh are divine dragons. Robert, Belf, and Leiden join the group, though only Robert is likely to gain any position in the party, and even then, he may not measure up. Only time will tell.

Up Next: Frozen Land, where we face a completely new type of dragon, unseen by humanity for generations...
