Jesus Gordin, where'd this strength come from?

You used to be one of the weakest people in the army in Shadow Dragon, and now you wreck armor knights using iron bows like its no big deal! I don't mind, but damn sir, that's a big change.

Chapter 3x - Lurking Shadows: Finished.

Base: Three support talks have sprung up all of a sudden! I go through the obligatory "current status" one, and then get to them. Ryan and Lyra (2) has the two of them contemplate what it would have been like had they shared the same family life. Gordin and Lyra (1) features Gordin trying to figure out how to have a more "experienced" looking presence, and seeking out advice from Lyra, though he comes up with nothing as of yet. Gordin and Ryan (2) has Gordin complimenting Ryan on his growth in a public sense, being less reserved around others, though noting that they both still have a ways to go. How's Everyone only turns up a Res potion that Palla found, and nothing more. Gordin and Ryan have their inventories refilled, since they broke something last chapter, and so we go.

Marth: Chilled until the enemies are defeated, and then seizes.

Wrys: Ran to hide on a fort, hoping to hold out until help arrives. He had to use a vulnerary, but he survives the attacks for long enough.

Gordin & Warren: Led the group, punching through the armor knights that aimed to bar their path with the help of Lyra and Ryan, and then moved ahead, preparing to save Wrys. Once the foe attacking Wrys was defeated, Gordin moved on to take down the two armor knights guarding the fort, securing a path for Marth to seize.

Lyra & Ryan: Covered the back, assisting Gordin and Warren in pushing through the initial armor knight wall, and then hanging back to hold off reinforcements that never came. Ah well.

Afterwards: Kleine complains about our escape, but is sure she can take us down later, and Lyra politely decline Wrys's offer to shave her head.

Up Next: We slay some pirates to meet up with Ogma, an ally of old! We also meet an interesting knight, and gain a possible party member!

Good thing that Alfric will be covering gaiden chapters that I can actually play ans see for myself. Forcing myself to kill characters in Shadow Dragon would have killed part of my immortal soul, that's how bad it would be.

I went on serenesforest and found that Ryan is superior to Gordin in basically every way. Good thing I used him a lot. I also learned there that Warren is useful.

The Gaiden's in this game are infinitely more forgiving to enter. I've never even had to try to get one, since the alternate conditions are so easy to fulfill that you don't even have to try for turncount, and most of the time I'm still under the turncount anyway.

Yeah, Ryan's growths outmatch Gordin's by quite a degree, but my Gordin appears to not want to be outdone. So far they're both doing well, and Warren is indeed quite useful.
