It appears that looks can be decieving.

After all, Idoun, the fearsome Dark Dragon, harbinger of the end of mankind, used to essentially be something along the lines of Fa! So now, Roy must look Beyond the Darkness, and do his best to save her!

Roy runs forward into her chamber, addressing Idoun. She simply asks why, after she has been ordered to lead this world, do we hinder her and stand in her way. Roy insists that now that Zephiel has fallen, she, just like us, have no real reason to fight each other. She remembers similar words from a time long past, but che can no longer recollect them, and only remembers the colorless void that she rested in while she was sealed. Zephiel set her free, and now she knows she must lead this world, no matter how long it takes. Roy is surprised by her strong will, but she only replies that that is how Zephiel wished it to be, and she that she will fulfill his request. She transforms into her draconic form, and the everyone says their final words on this matter.

It is here that I will be providing the last bit of stat info for each character. Their level, stats, and supports, but not my final review and stuff. That'll wait until the epilogue. Once I finish with their stats (Bold means the stat is capped), I will begin the final chapter.

Roy: Level 11 Master Lord

I won't give up! I have the sword of Hartmut, who pitied you and did not kill you! Everyone, leave the final blow to me!

  • Stats - 45 hp, 17 str, 25 skill, 24 spd, 27 luck, 14 def, 11 res.
  • Supports - A Lance, C Sue, C Lilina (I had him support her during one of the chapters where I needed her, just for fun, not knowing he could support with Sue).

Lance: Level 14 Paladin

Master Roy, Lord Eliwood... I shall show you my gratitude now!

  • Stats - 48 hp, 23 str, 26 skill, 25 spd, 14 luck, 12 def, 10 res
  • Supports - A Roy

Lugh: Level 18 Sage

...I won't lose. I can defend us all!

  • Stats - 43 hp, 26 mag, 28 skill, 25 spd, 15 luck, 8 def, 18 res.
  • Supports - A Ellen

Ellen: level 16 Bishop

Saint Elimine... Give us strength!

  • Stats - 39 hp, 17 mag, 23 skill, 17 spd, 30 luck, 4 def, 28 res
  • Supports - A Lugh

Dieck: Level 16 Hero

Whoo... Now there's something you don't see every day!

  • Stats - 56 hp, 24 str, 23 skill, 22 spd, 18 luck, 13 def, 5 res.
  • Supports - B Rutger, B Clarine, C Lot

Rutger: Level 14 Swordmaster

...It begins.

  • Stats - 50 hp, 21 str, 29 skill, 28 spd, 14 luck, 14 def, 8 res.
  • Supports - A Clarine, B Dieck

Clarine: Level 20 Valkyrie (the only level 20 unit in the party, since enemies just loved attacking her. Didn't even need to really try to do this.)

This is the end! We mustn't lose now!

  • Stats - 39 hp, 16 mag, 20 skill, 25 spd, 30 luck, 9 def, 27 res.
  • Supports - A Rutger, B Dieck

Sue: Level 15 Nomad Trooper

Is this the end? Or is it the beginning...

  • Stats - 46 hp, 21 str, 28 skill, 30 spd, 19 luck, 13 def, 9 res.
  • Supports - C Roy

Miledy: Level 16 Dragon Lord (likely supposed to be Wyvern Lord, but whatever)

I will not lose... For the troops back in Bern... ...For Gale...

  • Stats - 54 hp, 25 str, 24 skill, 23 spd, 11 luck, 21 def, 5 res.
  • Supports - none

Now, with that done, it's time to face Idoun.

First, I go for her two dragon guards, wanting to get them out of the way before the cause any trouble. Dieck and Miledy take them down without issue, and Lance, Sue, and Roy head towards Idoun, the others following behind. Another dragon appears, and Lugh takes him down. Roy then charges towards Idoun, preparing to fight her and put an end to this.

Idoun herself has some scary stats, capped 30 defense, 78 hp (notably lower than Yahn's though), decent speed and skill, a fierce 29 strength, (I note her might is 49, which means her Dark Breath has 20 mt. Scary.) and a tough 21 resilience so not even magic is going to do much save for the divine tomes.

This all sadly doesn't matter, since even with only 17 strength, Roy can one round her. Roy begins battle with her (she has an awesome looking animation, even for a final boss, and her battle music is pretty cool too). Roy scores a critical with the Sealed Sword from close range, and takes her down instantly. The rest shall be learned in the Epilogue.
